You can find early gameplay details in our previous report. IA/VT Colorful will be published by Marvelous AQL in Japan on July 31st.

The visuals are quite nice. I’m adding this one on my import list.

    • Arrngrim

Agreed, that character is very appealing to the eyes also!

    • jujubee88

I’m so glad rhythm games are the most Import friendly.

  • GibbRS

Ooh, it looks like Gitaroo Man. I’m interested. ^___^

    • Epitome

Yeah i notice that too. Now i want play that but sucks that its only on the jpn store.

  • EtherealEarth

Very much interested in songs from Kagerou Project.
Didn’t expect them at all O.o

    • Aerii

You didn’t expect Kagepro in an IA game? Kagepro songs are the most popular IA songs. Jin and Kagepro are 1st Place’s darling cashcows… they’re officially affiliated. I don’t know why you’d expect anything else.

    • Meseki

I don’t believe that’s a Kagerou Project song; the second and third screenshot appear to be the same song, and the title is in the third.

      • s07195

It’s made by the same guy though. Nihonbashi Koukashita R Keikaku. A song about tumblr, apparently. 0_0 It also has an animation going with the first verse.

Ironically, I don’t like the Kagerou Project, but I like this song >.>

  • wyrdwad

So… it’s pretty much Gitaroo Man with Vocaloid songs.

    …I can dig it!

  • looking pretty nice

  • Wow those screens are pretty. Looks like IA’s game is going to be a very good one =^_^=

  • Earthjolly

  • Aaah!! She’s giving Flash Dance realness with that over the shoulder sweatshirt!! <3

  • Yan Zhao

    “Vocaloid rhythm game”.

Weird, I dont recognize this character, who is she?

    • saxophone15

The character’s name is in the title of the game…

      • Arrngrim

She also had a figure released apparently, saw it on play-asia though it’s been sold out. Looks very nice.

        • s07195

Bought it around half a year ago… it IS very nice.

    • Aerii

IA is relatively new compared to Miku and co., but her popularity is getting fairly close to Miku’s in Japan. People in the West don’t tend to keep up with or embrace the newer things in Vocaloid though, so it’s not surprising you don’t recognize her.

      • Yan Zhao

Yeah this is the first time I heard of her. Its probably due to this being the first time I seen her in a news article as well.

  • Shippoyasha

Takaki is becoming a true Otaku gaming god at this point. I just know from his works that he will pack it full of content. Definite import watch on this one.

  • Kumiko Akimoto

Ohh I’m so happy IA is getting attention

  • Roberto

So many Rhythm games i like

but still no Bust a groove 3

  • Iyyuchtus

Nice! Vita’s getting a lot of rhythm games.
My wallet’s pretty angry about it…

  • British_Otaku

I can’t tell what’s what, but I love Takaki’s work and the look is pretty good anyway. I might get this one, though I have no idea what Gitaroo Man is like.

  • It looks cool and nice. Might import this if I have nothing else to play.

  • buddyluv324

Looks sweet so far. I’ll be looking out for this one to import for my Vita for sure!

  • I wonder if they used a half or a full napkin to come up with the name?

  • Pdugna

Certainly is colorfull :D will definitely keep track of this

  • Demeanor

I wonder if SF-A2 Miki will see the spotlight some day too. :) Love her voice.
For this, no matter how gorgeous IA is, I’m waiting for some gameplay trailer before passing judgement.

  • Arcana Drill

    I like rhythm games, i like vocaloids… i’m interested.

  • Nerroth

Looks like Famitsu have posted an interview about the game, too:

  • konsama

The art got me, will keep an eye on this.

  • So, just pressing and holding the right button at the right time? Or is there something more to it?
Guess we’ll find out more in time; hope this turns out well.

  • Xerain

Make the songs longer than 1min 30 and sold. Sorry Megupoid the Music #, didn’t buy you.

  • tarbis

Project Diva F 2nd, Go! Go! 575, Persona DAN and now IA/VT. I need more funds for these rhythm games. T_T

  • awat

looks pretty good, but are we gettin it in english ? i wonder

  • Aristides

any chance for a western release?

  • Looks cool.

  • Nexus

Love me some rhythm games and I definitely love me some IA. She’s my favorite of the VOCALOIDs. Doubt they’ll consider releasing this stateside since IA doesn’t quite have the worldwide popularity as Miku does. Oh well, there’s always importing.

  • s07195

    Nihonbashi Koukashita R Keikaku… 0_0
The reason I got into IA songs…

    • Anesia Hunter

time to invest into a vita this year, since this year sounds like a good year to do so, so far anyways.

  • Herilia

Eh… So sad import is pretty expensive… And we won’t get a downloadable version on vita I imagine in europe… Well we did get diva-f a few weeks before diva-f 2 comes out… maybe it will be the same for this one? I can dream, can’t I? xD
