Deception IV Has A Release Date In North America And Europe

By Ishaan . January 17, 2014 . 10:00am

Deception IV: Blood Ties has a release date in North America and Europe, publisher Tecmo Koei announced this morning. The game will be available on March 25th in North America and March 28th in Europe.

Deception IV follows the story of Laegrinna, who is a part of the devil’s soul. Your goal is to set up traps and lure enemies into them, then watch them suffer hideous deaths. Careful timing is the name of the game, as a mis-timed trap could kill you instead.

You can watch a trailer for Deception IV above. The game will be available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

  • March again, huh? *sigh* Seriously, this is getting old.

    • Kamakuma

I guess they can’t get enough of ‘Marching’ us into debt. *ba bum tish*

  • MrSirFeatherFang

Oh yeah, it’s also on PS3. Was wondering why it wasn’t on that 30 Vita games of 2014 video by IGN.
Although portable is sooo convenient and I play them more often (and Vita’s OLED), something in my kicks to choose a console version over portable.
I do want to own both somewhere down the line. Looking cool, glad TK is localizing this!

    • leingod

I’m glad they’re localizing this for the Vita as well… sometimes they leave the Vita version out if there’s a PS3 one. Like with that One Piece game.

  • ZnTxn

Never heard of this before. Sounds fun!

  • Anna Scruton

As interesting and fun as this looks, March has already rendered me broke with other releases. I’ll keep my eye on this one though.

  • lordsofskulls

My wallet is going to cry in march o.o

  • Alexander Aubert

  • AkiraScare

May the odds… never be….. in your favor (^_____^)

  • Shiki

Thank you Tecmo Koei!! My favorite company early 2014!

I just hope this has Japanese dub or no voiceover at all.

  • shuyai

wait wait wait whats with the trailer? it is almost as if they are advertising this game as SM game with skimpy dressed girls.

is they game suppose to be funky/funy or serious plot wise?

    • zaidandzhadow

Serious plot about a demon lord etc. I would say torture magic/elements instead S&M because that sounds more like the game

  • ishyg

I’m just happy that this gets a localization. I really missed the series.

  • Pdugna

My God this Spring is gunna be glorious for alot of these games

  • Kornelious

Hmmm, not even sure what genre this would go under. Looks interesting though, but will probably get it later cuz i gotta get Blazblue.

  • Wesley Kenneth Houpt Mattingly

Nice, another ninja announce. Tuis means Japanese audio only most likely. Going to grab this for Vita, I feel mobile torture will just be so delicious.

  • Vash bane

ive played most of the series ( missed out on 3 but own trapt) memory is a little foggy but this time around they are going to revive the devil? how did it die? and how come every trailer ends when the ladies clothes break XD?

    • Lucky Dan

Trapt is Tecmon Deception III you haven’t missed it at all if you played this game.

  • Clairis Cannon

i will most certainly buy this….if i still have the monies

  • sakusakusakura_nyo

I’m definitely getting this game but I’m not sure if I want the Vita or PS3 version yet.
