    ……………………..
    localization please!

    • Kasuga Yuki

      ^ THIS!

    • Audie Bakerson

Well given Totori + and Meruru + made it over and seem to have done fairly well for the cost required, I don’t forsee this not coming over (if it has dual audio this time or not is another question though). It’s not like it’s a Summon Night title or something…

      • Rinkawa Erion

Oh it will be dual audio if they do not want the fans to boycott this game AGAIN.

        http://www.siliconera.com/2013/10/24/atelier-escha-logy-will-have-dual-audio-voice-tracks-in-the-west/

        • Rogerrmark

          That’s a vocal minority.

          • Ladius

I’m sad some fans lost the opportunity to enjoy one of the best Atelier games because of its lack of dual audio, and I hope Atelier Plus has that feature just to make them able to appreciate it.

          • Rinkawa Erion

I highly prefer Japanese voice than English. And in my case, I would NEVER have enjoyed a game if it’s English voiced only and would rather pass on the game. And I’m sure that were also the case of those “fans” you speak of.

        • Slayven19

That’s a vocal minority and that didn’t effect anything. However releasing the game in a month where other big profile games are released in does. I’ve friends with people that would have bought the game if not for them buying other games.

      With dual audio, please!

      • artemisthemp

Tecmo Koei have said all future Atelier will have Dual Audio, so that at less sure.

Localization won’t happen until New Atelier Rorona have released here as their most likely gonna be some import bonus in Atelier Ayesha Plus.

      • Slayven19

Good heavens they already said they would, I wish you people would keep up with the times, good heavens!!

    • Ping92

it’s tecmo koei, so it is very possible

    • DarthSithZero

They need to announce New Rorona first to end the Arland Trilogy then Ayesha.

  • Altin

Dat Regina. I dont know exactly what it is, but I love her design <3

  • Wesley Kenneth Houpt Mattingly

Looking forward to a localization announcement sometime soon.

  • CH3N9

Too bad like button is nowhere to be found, could had blast the like button.

  • Namuro

Man! That baker is huge! Seriously.

Also, Regina is so cute. (*´∀`*)

  • CamulaHikari

    I need that Ayesha outfit~ *^*

  • AxionAzure

I’m not quite as interested in this as I am interested in New Atelier Rorona, but I do hope this gets localized in the future. Atelier is a great series to have on portables.

  • Hours

I really hope they add Fred & Kyle as playable characters.

  • Guest

Okay, come on… I CAN’T be the only one who finds it bizzare that I’m looking at content for the *Plus* version before normal version is even out in the West! First Disgaea, now this… How is a Vita-owner supposed to justify purchasing the PS3 version now?!

    • Death Saved

It came out 10 months ago but yeah they should really add this to cross buy or allow to update our games.

    • Ladius

Ayesha came out last year, I think you are mistaking it with Escha & Logy (Ayesha’s sequel, which will be released here in March and has no announced Vita porting).

  • LM009

I guess there isn’t much hope that they can make the alchemy system more interesting, felt like a step down from meruru way too easy and the power transfer stuff etc was dull

  • http://fr.twitch.tv/Nhatalya Aleksandrina

Ayesha in that costume looks like Alice from Alice in Wonderland, but it’s a cute outfit. Same for Regina.

    • Kumiko Akimoto

I think that’s what they were going for considering the color scheme

  • grevlinghore

Ayesha showing some legs. I like it :o

  • cyberkinghardy

    No physical copy? No thanks..

  • http://strictlyapathy.comoj.com/ SoulArbiter

I have to learn to stop buying the initial console releases of the Atelier series!

    • Ladius

As I said in the last Ayesha Plus thread, skipping Escha & Logy and future PS3 Atelier games could be a really bad idea considering Atelier sales are already extremely niche and Tecmo Koei could end up stopping localizations if they drop under a certain quota. This could even have an impact on Ar no Surge’s chances to be localized.

Also, the Vita ports have an extremely minor number of new features (aside from Shin Atelier Rorona, which is a full remake and is on PS3, too), and unless you prefere handhelds to consoles there’s little reason to wait for a port. Escha and Logy seems to be a wonderful game in its own right, too, and as a fan of this series I don’t want to wait another year to pay full price for a digital-only Vita version.

      • Kumiko Akimoto

        I want ciel no surge

        • Ladius

I think that ship has sailed long ago, I hope there’s a chance to see Ar no Surge localized if the new batch of Tecmo Koei localizations are successful.

          • Kumiko Akimoto

            but but my life simulation

          • M’iau M’iaut

Don’t you mean your sleeping under the table alarm, clock? :P

Following the manga, I’m still convinced the endgame of TWOGK might just be Keima keeping Elsie from turning back into the final boss.

      • Sigfried Silverblade

Digital is cheaper than retail for me.

And altought the digital has only a few minor changes, if they had NO CHANGES at all, then I wouldn’t hesitate so much in buying the version that comes out first.

      • http://strictlyapathy.comoj.com/ SoulArbiter

Totally forgot sarcasm doesn’t work on the internet. My bad.

        • Ladius

Sorry about the misunderstanding, but it was difficult to spot your post as sarcasm since I have seen lots of people using that argument seriously in other threads.

  • cloudcaelum

Need somethings like trilogy for all Vita Atelier games, never discount for EU makes me sad.

And why pics 720p, not Vita Res, they are not from Vita version?

  • Sigfried Silverblade

Alright, question for those who actually got one of the Plus versions of Atelier games on Vita.
Those new costumes. Are they already in the game, free to use, or you have to buy them as DLC?

    • Altin

Dont know how it is for America, but here in Europe (most of Europe), they offered a Digital Special Edition for early buyers of the game, providing all DLC Clothes for free. Afaik, that Special Edition is still available on our PSN. I think you guys got these extras via retailers like Gamestop and such.

  • Arcana Drill

    I like it… very much and Yukata Winbell…. 10/10.

  • http://vindictushots.tumblr.com/ Okuni-chan

What to do… I haven’t gotten this game yet. Do I wait for the Vita version oooor get the PS3 one. Hmm…

    • Hikari Langley

If you don’t mind wating another year, get the Vita version honestly. Because if TK is releasing them in order, we still gotta get Origin Story: Atelier Rorona, before Atelier Ayesha Plus.

      • http://vindictushots.tumblr.com/ Okuni-chan

Aah I see. I wouldn’t mind waiting as there are other games that I would like to get so that would help in sticking to the order on my gaming list. Thank you for the information ( ^.^)/

  • Magicks

I have no doubt that this’ll be localized and released here just like Totori + and Meruru +. But I’m a little bit urked about an Ayesha + release soon. It just feels like I’m missing out on a huge portion of cute costumes just for supporting the initial PS3 release.

I’ll probably buy it regardless, since I’m a sucker for the Atelier series, and I’ve done the same with Atelier Totori+ and Meruru+, but I really wish that there was some sort of cross-compatibility with the Vita version and the PS3 version just so I can also use my hard-earned characters that have. And get the DLC for the PS3 as well.

PS: LE or CE would be nice too. :(

  • Anime10121

Dat Atelier art (insert Chris Brown face.jpg)

Man I may be on again off again as far as the series itself goes, but dat art never disappoints!

  • Slayven19

I want to see the linca outfit up close but nope, they show ayesha and wilbel only. However I’d like to see linca get something a little better than that costume in that scan. I do like it however but its to close to a swimsuit.

  • SerChief

Costumes look fantastic! Can’t wait for it!

  • TheExile285

Art style looks so nice. I look forward to playing this.

  • Sigfried Silverblade

After all that dual audio episode, I think it would be better if they just kept original japanese dub and forget about doing an english dub.
Makes it cheaper, and less people complain.

  • Kumiko Akimoto

Yes if they aren’t going to try they might as well not try at all and save us the trouble

  • Altin

According to you of course, because everyone who likes to play these games also wants to hear a dub in a language that ~99% can’t even understand. My youngest examples might be Resonance of Fate and Valkyria Chronicles, both of which, have a very good english dub. Surprisingly, I almost liked them in some areas more than the original.

I am not defending localized dubs only in any way, but I am still surprised that so many people would go so far to boycott a great game just for that reason. And a very niche game while we’re at it.

I see Siliconera is doing its best work at removing my comments again. Didnt know that the slang definition of a japanophile can hurt so many “feelings”. Next time I will abandon my opinion on this and try to f*rt rainbows or just say:
    “豆腐に鎹、糠に釘。”

  • Sigfried Silverblade

And I never said I disliked dubs. I rather prefer the game in a language I understand.
But I don’t see finicky buyers complaining and boycotting when the game has japanese audio only.

  • Altin

Of course you dont see complains because most localized games still have english text and dialogue, making it understandable for western buyers. Japanese dubs are for many people that extra “kawaii uguu~” incentive. I never claimed that you are enforcing Japanese Dub only either. I only question people that boycott a game for this very reason, nothing else ;)

    To the downvoters, bl*w me
