It hasn’t even been that long, has it?

  • Lemski07

what 4g…… WHAT 4G!!!! where’s our english RELEAAASE?!

  • Ben Green

I can just imagine everyone’s reaction when they find out Monster Hunter 4G is being released: “ENGLISH RELEASE COMING!??!!11”

    • ZEROthefirst

  • WyattEpp

    Salivation intensifies.

    • That’s cute…

  • Ban The Jackass

    MH4U confirmed! Aw yissss

  • Go2hell66

Hopefully an english announcement is incoming or do we have to wait for the Wii U port 1st?

  • Pandakids09 .

Im hoping Capcom Just gives us this version

  • Sentsuizan_93

Oh. It’s also worthy to mention that the end of the trailer confirms that save data from MH4 can be transferred to MH4G.

  • With the little attention Monster Hunter has outside Asia, Nintendo worked hard to show off and give us MH Tri and 3 Ultimate, then just completely ignored MH4. I’m hoping this is the reason why.

    • Heisst

You do know we got 3 Ultimate 16 months after the japanese release and MH4 came out just 4 months ago?

      • Didn’t stop them advertising 3 Ultimate for those 16 months. Even before it’s Japanese release, there was a Capcom rep that repeatedly hinted at a localised version.

        HAH! Told ya! xD

        • Heisst

People hint at things all the time, it doesn’t mean anything official. Some hint that was for a game that was released 16 months after its japanese release, might as well not have happened.

  • Bobby Jennings

    Already? Fucking Capcom

  • Lilith

I made the switch to Toukiden. Sorry Capcom.

    • niko

Eh, i really liked Toukiden but the hunting experience in MH is much better. How long can Toukiden keep you occupied? It wasn’t that long. You’ll be done before Autumn. =P

      • The way I see it is tha the could make more money if the just hear out the gamers that have been playing MH’s game on the system it started out on. But the changed over to Wii and that is not bad but to the 3ds is just bad I’m manly saying that from playing it and getting dropped out in a fight.

      • Lilith

Maybe, but at least Toukiden gets a timely release with online multiplayer in a portable that looks good.

        • Well said

        • MyBodyIsReady

True that. Capcom could take a few notes from the “clones”.

Capcom have got some competition on their hands these days, there’s already talk of Toukiden 2 in the making, and the only real advantage Monster Hunter has on the others is the amount of content.

Would buy a Monster Hunter made for the Vita in a heartbeat though, the graphics on the one on 3DS make my eyes bleed

        • ronin4life

MH 4 looks great and has Online play.

          • Lilith

Online play? Check. Looks great? Debatible. And you totally missed the timely release point.

          • Kazekage Gaara

            Ugh graphics whores……….

          • ronin4life

“Timely” is kind of a relative point to make though.

          • Lilith

Probably. But I waited hell of a lot less for Toukiden than for MH3U.

      • Croix Zapp

the graphics for toukiden is waaaaay better than MH.
i was enticed by it even after i got bored with hunting games like MH and SS

        • SS tried to got the hunting game ya but left out a key point but it’s story made up for that by just a bit.

        • niko

It’s not as much fun, the gameplay isn’t as good, and it has much less content. But wow, those graphics are much better.

I don’t know…i liked Toukiden but Toukiden vs. MH isn’t even a close comparison.

I like SS too but aside from the grinding, etc. it’s nothing like MH and I think the comparisons are silly.

    • MaximDualBlade

I have never played neither Toukiden, nor Monster hunter( versions of course) but don’t be so harsh with the fans here. Unless they are console battling, let them be happy, because I know and surely you know the joy of having a game you want announced for localization.

Although you could argue that the practice of announcing the better version of a game 4 months after it’s release is simply a kick in the nuts. If the G version could be paid dlc, that would be reasonable and also having the new version as a stand alone title would be cool for fans who were expecting this. Only the full price “new” game is not cool, even when I’m not japanese, this is sad move for the consumers.

On a personal note: Of course I don’t know if this G version will be so but so huge that it contains new story, lots of news monsters, more polished graphics, better AI for monsters, all the dlc of the original included, new areas and more; then it would be more worthy to pay full price, but at the moment it doesn’t seem atractive to me at all.

See you on Toukiden next month :)

      • Lilith

I’m not saying either one is better than the other. I’m just pointing out the fact that at least TK is delivering on what MH fans has been asking of Capcom for years. It’s their own fault they has lost me as a costumer in that regard.

        • ronin4life

Whenever someone says something like this, I can’t help but feel you are confusing “MH Fans” with “Sony Fans”.

Most of the people who Complain and Carry on in the threads I’ve been to since 3U was first announced didn’t even seem to care about the Game itself, but the platform it was on; and many admittedly so.

        • MaximDualBlade

Actually you can say that, it’s a free forum. And inevitably one is better than the other for you.

My thoughts are that it’s no use crying over spilled milk and at the end of the day, if you want to give a message then actions are worth way more than a comment. If they really lost you, then buy Toukiden and don’t buy MH4 next year. If not then don’t complain

        • Laer_HeiSeiRyuu

What’s toukiden have to do with MonHun? Lol

  • Ghostlygengar

I’m just speechless :) (hope this ver come to west)

  • riceisnice

Maybe they’ll release this version in the west… You know… Like with Bravely Default…

  • Shadowman

So will we get this in the NA or never?

  • Nas

    Western release confirmed for 2015

  • Guest
MH4G announced and still no word for english version on MH4. My reaction.

  • 하세요

Wonder if Barioth and Sand Barioth will make a return. I can do without Hapu, but the desert is bound to bring ’em back.

  • Areuto

And than it hit me, “Diablos wasn’t in the previous monster hunter 4 game, but why would they release a new desert area unless…….oh my god RUN FOR THE HILLS BEFORE IT KILLS US ALL!”

  • Jonattas F.

Is that 0:30 underwater battle? again?!

    • 하세요

No, that’s one of the new cave areas.

      • Jonattas F.

        Oh God… What a relief!

    • Symbol de Au

      I liked underwater battles. =/

      • ronin4life

        Me too.

  • ronin4life

Here’s hoping for a DLC like update patch like Fantasy Life got.

And while I’m wishing; Cross region play. May not even need to buy the English release…

  • randominternetperson

Not even half a year since release and we already getting a G. This might be as worst as day one DLC.

    • Kazekage Gaara

Uh we never got 4 to begin with so…how is that day one dlc?

      • 하세요

Some of us actually do have the Japanese version. If there wasn’t a data transfer option, this would be kind of a kick in the nuts. I was expecting one ore between the G version but I guess there’s no need for that anymore.

        • Kazekage Gaara

Sorry about that I was just speaking for NA and EU :3

        • Chris Evan Jonance Ingeniero

The way i see it. MH4 is the beta tester that can only be accessed in japan . the 4G and 4U is the actual balanced game because MH4 has been tested in the market.
