Vocaloid artist kz livetune have shared a music video of their song, “Decorator,” which serves as the opening theme for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd. The song actually has two videos, one of which we’ve posted in the past.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd is slated for release on March 27th for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Meanwhile, “Decorator” will be released via an album titled Decorator EP, which will be released on March 5th in Japan. You can view part of the Project Diva F 2nd intro featuring the song here.

    Yay Livetune!

I hate autotune. Why do vocaloids need it in the first place???

    • HououinKyouma

If you don’t like autotune, stay away from Vocaloids, no?
Why do you even bother coming here XD.
I don’t know if there’s a reason to their autotune but tha’s how it is..

      • Aerii

… what does disliking autotune have to do with Vocaloids? They’re not the same thing and they don’t even sound the same.

    • Ryo-kun

Because that’s the charateristic of kz’s tuning.

    • Uni

There’s no autotune, you don’t need to autotune what is essentially MIDI note orientation with vowels. The autotune effect you hear seems to come from the lyrics sung several times at once, layered over each other with different attack, decay, sustain, release settings to them.

It is auto-tune and I know it’s unnecessary for vocaloid but ko and jp and usas tend to think things like that sound “cool” and even if it does work for the song, it’s overused and played out.

        Especially regarding kanye.

      • Aerii

Dude, it’s autotune. You don’t need to autotune Vocaloids, but people do it for effect. And there is an audible difference between when a Vocaloid is autotuned and when it isn’t. All Vocaloids naturally have portamento between notes. Autotune gets rid of that. [/ownsthreeVocaloids]

    • Aerii

They don’t. It’s just there for stylistic purposes.

It’s nice to see more of livetune’s songs…Though but I can’t help but miss Ryo…>..<

I agree. I was hoping all the themes for future PD would be by ryo

  • ekibyougami

Dat godly pairing of livetune x WakamuraP

The wait is killing me. Guess I could take a break off Toukiden for a while and play some PDF again xD

  • Razzlero

This video looks like the PV for the song as opposed to being from the game.

  • SpaceOfSoul

There seriously needs to be a dance central/ just dance style of game for The project diva series. I’d totally buy it….

    • tarbis

Indeed! I’d love to dance with Miku instead of some generic avatars. They should make it happen on PS4.

  • Demeanor

Sooo… what’s the deal with these two versions? Will we be playing both? I MUCH prefer the other pv, ultimate Project Diva pv imho :D
