    Can’t wait, and that’s quite a soundtrack they’re including.

  • MrRobbyM

Where could I have gotten one when they said they made another 3000? I looked everywhere for days and it was never available…

    • Tinye

I was looking as well and nothing popped up. Even asked Amazon to notify me :(

    • Firarosa

Unfortunately, you can’t get one. They’re sold out everywhere. When they made those extra 3,000 copies, I could be wrong, but I think the other 15,000 were sold out, and those 3,000 copies sold out quickly as well. (Makes me incredibly glad I pre-ordered the CE as soon as it was announced). It’s unfortunate for everyone who didn’t get the chance to pre-order. You could always hope that someone doesn’t pick up their pre-order, and the store puts it on the shelf. But I imagine it would go quickly.

      • MrRobbyM

Yeah, that’s what I thought. Just wondering it they even made it available at all after that announcement. I checked various times every day. You’d think with that kind of demand they’d make a lot more.

        • Slickyslacker

They probably just made the extra 3,000 available through their website, which were apparently eaten up like crazy. I doubt they even shipped any to Amazon or Gamestop.

          • MrRobbyM

That’s where i checked the most.

    • Slickyslacker

There are always eBay listings at ridiculously exorbitant prices.

  • transferstudentx

they shipped my uk CE early and i already unboxed it here some pics i uploaded for the unboxing

    • Aw, the US one looks better than ours…

      • transferstudentx

its still a pretty good CE both of them are

        • It is, no doubt about that. The items I wanted most are still there, just the US one looks more… premium.

    • YoshEE

Nice and lucky lol!!!! Hope I get my CE soon when release in US.

    • Death Saved

So the only thing missing is the artbook?

    • Thrasher429

Could you confirm what the actual box is like because based on those pictures it looks like we don’t get as nice a box compared to the US….which would honestly be a but of a dick move considering after exchange rates we pay just as much as those who got the US CE would have.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

What a bad time not to have any cash…

  • Those Chibi Characters *_*

  • Are there any tales games you can download to the vita or download to the ps3 and trasnfer to the vita, also what would be a good tales game for a newcomer of the series to start off with!

    • Firarosa

As far as I’m aware, there are no Tales games that are able to be downloaded to Vita. Unless there’s one in Japan.
Everyone might tell you something different, but I could recommend this one, Symphonia. Symphonia was the first one played for a lot of people, including me. It’s what got me hooked on the series.

      • DivinePhoenix69

Both Innocence R and Hearts R are for Vita though unfortunately they are Japanese-only releases. Not sure if they are available on the Japanese PSN though.

    • pimpalicious

I would suggest Xillia, or Symphonia if you keep in mind that it is a 2003/4 game. So it does look and play slightly dated. But it does have a world map with more exploration and puzzles than the most recent Tales games(Graces f and Xillia).

Vesperia wouldn’t be a bad choice either if you have a 360.

    • Wappuli

Tales of Hearts R and Tales of Innocence R are both in PSN-store for download, but only in Japan.

    • The_Superior_Spider-Mon

You can always import a physical copies of Tales of Hearts R & Innocence R but you’ll be locked out of DLC costumes/items

If the Bandai Namco Europe’s staff member who was here earlier is reading this, I would like to ask some questions.

Has there been some sort of problem with shipping these CEs to Nordic countries? All of the shops say they aren’t getting this package for release date, even though the UK ones haven’t had stock problems, like, at all. And since my UK order was cancelled due to the size and weight of the CE, my only choice seems to be to place an order from a retailer in my country. But pretty much every store is just telling me “not getting this”. Is there some reason on your side that affects this, or is it just on our end?

Second, please, please make that steelbook available for European players some way.

    • Meintje Diepstraten

I have a similar problem with the CE, my order from a UK retailer was cancelled, and if I try to re-order it at a different store I get a message saying ‘Unable to place order because this game is prohibited in your country’ (Netherlands). What?

  • Suriel Cruz

That box looks so PERFECT, but my wallet looks so EMPTY. *sigh*
    Hopefully in Tales of Xillia 2… hopefully. ^ ^;

  • Roberto

    well bye bye my money

  • icup ✔️

i wonder how many tried to claim the code that was shown @ 1:37.

  • Junko Enoshima

Probably the best CE I have ever seen!

  • Masa

Can’t wait to play Symphonia again, not played it since the gamecube and whenever i tried getting the game the price was pretty much robbery xD, so glad we have another chance to play the game and even better its now HD :)

  • ShindoW

So glad I googled Amazon in advance and ordered it before it was really in the system. Probably my wife’s favorite game, so she’s super excited for the CE.

    • Firarosa

You’ve got to be the best husband ever. My hubby thinks I’m insane for being as excited as I am. XD
      Love this game.

  • Kornelious

Huh, looks smaller than I thought. Still hyped though! the 25th can’t get here soon enough :)

  • SpecDotSign

I paid $100 for all this??! Whoa, pretty good bargain.

  • $23890725

Well time to order a copy from US because as always no collectors edition for Sweden. :(

    • Firarosa

None in US either, unfortunately. It’s sold out all over the globe.

      • $23890725

Man that suck´s well at least you got a collectors edition at all some game never even get physical copy in Sweden like all 3 YS games for psp DL only.

  • Teepo 64

I love how it includes the original box and a steel box. Usually, it’s only one or the other.

  • KingNigma

Really bummed I missed out on this. How early did it sell out?

    • Stranger On The Road

I don’t know about the US, but I believe that Zavvi in the UK was ‘out of stock’ somewhere at the beginning of January. Luckily I pre-ordered back in December.

Although I’m worried about whether they would be able to fulfill the order or not; they still haven’t shipped Lighting Return to me to this day!

      • KingNigma

I’m in Canada and I’ve been trying as early as November with Amazon and EB Games. Kinda surprised how quick it sold out seeing as I pre-ordered the XIllia LE weeks before release and still got it.

Sucks to hear about your Lightning Returns. That’s quite the delay. I thought deliveries would be more likely to be delayed than shipping.

  • Learii

gamestop out of stock of the collector edition =(

  • I”m so effing ready I have mine paid off having used amazon gift cards to pay it so I hope amazon delivers with packaging it nicely.

  • Martian Wong

I dont know is it worth it…those figures are so puny…

  • new_tradition

I love the Milla figurine I got with the Xillia CE, but this ToS CE looks like it’s got more bang for your buck. Really glad I managed to get in a pre-order ^^

  • Yeahp… OMFG! I REGRET NOTHING! I CAN’T WAIT TO PICK THIS UP ON THE 25TH IT LOOKS SO FUCKING AMAIZING ABVDYUFGYGJGHUIFGQWYUGFYUGUJK *loses ability to type properly due to the excitement of ToS:C coming out in 3 days*

  • HerosLight

Man, I really wanted that Custom Theme and the figures, but collectors edition was sold out around my area.

  • CirnoLakes

    Three more days! Three more days! It’s almost here! ;_;

  • Ultimaniacx4

Is there a difference between the North American version and the European version?

    • Firarosa

No art book, no steel case, and I think the novel isn’t hard cover, for Europe. I don’t live in Europe, so I’m not 100%. I’m just going off of what I’ve heard.

    • Mr_SP

I live in Australia, and got the collector’s edition. It’s specifically the region 2 version of the game. Let me tell you.

Yes, there is a difference. No art book. No steel case. No theme. Box is not a top-opening split box, but a 5-panel slide box. Novel is paperback. Worse, the US novel is color, while the EU novel is greyscale. OST is 2 disc, and isn’t even it’s own case, but a hinged disc holder inside the case. However, the OST is the same, as the two discs have 98 tracks between them, which is the same as the US. Cover is not reversible – the OST track listing is on the inside. The US instruction manual is in color, while the EU instruction manual is greyscale, but has quite a few extra languages. Figures are the same.

Sure, the figures and novel are the meat of it, and the art book and steel case basically irrelevant, but I fail to understand why there’s a difference at all. Especially in the colors!

      • Ultimaniacx4

Thanks for the info. So that’s why it’s so much easier to find the European version. Guess it’s off to ebay for me, freaking scalpers =(

  • SaiyanJedi_Trunks

This collector’s edition is so worth it. Figures, OST and a 137 page novel? That’s a ton for what you get…especially since its 2 games as well.

  • artemisthemp

EU really got rip off with Tales of Symphonia CE
