  • Wait what

I wonder if this demo will allow online co-op. I doubt it, but some demos have done so and I’d love to play a round with a friend to see if we should get it.

    • Hound

A lot of fighting game demos tend to allow local co-op (which is all I’d ask for). I hope that it’s like early press demos where you can play Jotaro, Wammu, and Gyro (not sure if Joseph was playable yet) locally against one other person to try it out.

And not like Capcom’s Heritage to the Future where you had half a dozen characters, but could only play against half a dozen AI bots and could not play multi-player.

      • Wait what

I can only play with my friend online. :(

        • Hound

And I can only play multi-player games locally :(
(since I don’t like multiplayer cell phone games)

          • Wait what

            Do you not have internet?

  • Pandakids09 .

Lol watched the 1st season all one go since it was pretty short

    • Trinity

That wasn’t the first season. That was the first arc of the manga. The rest of season one, which covers the second arc, is going up on Friday.

      • Pandakids09 .

oh ok that makes a little more sense. But still it was amazing!

    • Rafael Martines

The 1st Season convers Part 1 Phantom Blood and Part 2 Battle Tendence….

The 2nd Season that started last week, covers Part 3 Stardust Crusaders

  • koksuckaahh

I hope they keep the original cover, instead of this one.

    • Zonic505
      • Altin

Honestly, this is actually quite a great idea.

      • James Williams

That is an amazing idea, i wish the UK would have gotten jonathan/Dio and america could have had joseph!

    • Punny Fuzz

Personally, I’m just going to slip the Jp cover onto the Na case. anyone know where I can find a PS3 game case that can hold 2 discs, or even an existing game that has 2 discs in the same case? just so I can store my Jp copy as well.

  • KingGunblader

Gonna give it a go! Been playing lots of fighters lately, and this looks like a good “alternative” fighting game if you know what I mean.

  • John Diamond

i wonder if they dub this

    • AkuLord3

Doubt it but who knows, no news on that

      • Pinwheel

They aren’t dubbing the game. They’ve already mentioned that. Anime? It’s likely on the way from Viz Media.

    • Jesse

      Nah, it’s Japanese voices only.

      • John Diamond

I meant the game but sure

        • Jesse

That’s what I meant, too. XD

    • Hound

Crunchyroll doesn’t do dubbing. If another company (Sentai Filmworks, Funimation, etc) licenses Jojo’s, then you might see a dub. They stream a few dubbed shows, but that’s only because they licensed the show after the dub was released.

      • John Diamond

Ruoroni kenshin is dubbed on crunchy roll

        • Hound

Crunchyroll doesn’t do the dubbing. If they sub-license an anime from another licensor (like with Fairy Tale, Rurouni Kenshin, and maybe One piece-?-) then they may have access to the dubs that the original English licensor (FUNimation, Bandai, etc) had added.

It works the same way with subs. Crunchyroll’s stream of ”The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” uses Bandai’s hard-coded subtitles.

Since there wasn’t a previous dub of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure 2012 (Bandai no longer has a US anime branch, I believe), they won’t add one.

          • John Diamond

o, i wasn’t talking about crunchyroll doing the dubbing, i was talking about the game

      • Ricardo C

He was talking about the game, not the anime.

    Day 1

  • Arz

I want this, but is the netcode any good? This is the sole reason holding me back from buying this.

    • Ou7

The Japanese version was actually fairly solid. I’ve been able to play some people from America (I live in Australia) with minimal input lag, but there was stuttering here and there. Granted, two of them have told me they had a bit of problem with lag. Even so, from watching stream, the connection is generally perfect if the fight is from within the same region. Either ways, it’s hard to say for certain in this case because, well it’s not the finished localised product.

  • Vash bane

interesting i’m not one for fighters but I am a fan of this series so I guess i’ll give this a look
