Preordered mine copy, I cant wait for this, having heard amazing things about it, its bound to be this years BLue Exorcist, that is, the best animu movie released (assuming Eva 3.0 doesnt releases on disc in the us this year).

You must have a lot of cash to buy something as overpriced as this… I don’t know whether to admire you or, well, something else…

      • M’iau M’iaut

        With jolttuna…it is something else.

      • XYZ_JolteonZ980

Its just 80 dollars and comes with lots of good stuff from animate store too. Its only the second anime I am buying thus far this year, i guess a few more this summer.

Eva 3.0 is going to be released this year. It was originally planned for February, before being delayed to sometime this fall.

I’ll pass… The DVD is over priced, and while I have no problem with Japanese dubbing… I’d prefer to have a dubbed English version so I won’t have to be reading throughout the film… Looks like I’ll be missing out :/

      >so I won’t have to be reading throughout the film

I’ve never been able to understand why this bothers people. It’s always felt the same as just listening to me.

It is definitely overpriced however… but I’d imagine that they’re just matching the Japanese price to avoid importing. Anime releases are overpriced as shit there, that’s how they make their profit.

It’s all right. I’ve never been able to understand why not having dual-audio is a deal breaker for others. We all have our priorities, I suppose.

      • Anime10121

Because some people prefer to actually watch the animation vs glancing back and forth at the subs and the video. And there’s also the benefit of being able to do other things while watching the movie and still being able to understand whats going on without having been glued to the tv for two hours.

    • God

      Then watch it online.

      • SpaceOfSoul

Don’t really like to support watching it illegally. Unless it was uploaded by aniplex themselves. Such as how some full episodes are uploaded on YouTube to watch for free.
        Would rather support by buying.

        • God

If you are not gonna buy it anyways wheres the harm in watching it online?

  • bummer that there is no english dub

  • Shane Guidaboni

Insanely overpriced. Can’t believe it :/

  • Firion Hope

Oh its just one of the previously released trailers, this was fan subbed a looooong time ago

  • Rimoku

Nice to see the Persona franchise moving along. Still not sure why Persona 5 is going to be a PS3 release though… :S

  • Noor Mahmoud

I want to buy this and support Atlus, but I hate Aniplex, and I’m not sure how much of the money would actually go back to Atlus. I may just end up watching this online and then buying Persona 4 that just came out on PSN for $10 even though I own the game, such because I want to give them money somehow. But seriously, #### Aniplex.

  • Kaitou21

I usually hate all video game movies but this one actually looks good, alot better than that crappy persona 4 anime adaptation, I’ll probably watch this one.

  • I’m not bothered by the price that much, but until they give it a proper English release (and by that I mean giving the movie an English dub), I will refuse to give them anything. In fact, I think the Western Persona fans should boycott Aniplex until they do. But me being me, I’ll just remain sh**ty at them.

  • Istillduno

If you’re planning on buying it without going for Aniplex’s rip-off prices, or even in spite of their rip off prices see if someone picks it up for the UK first.

We may be rip off Britain but at least our publishers have enough sense to release dvds and blu-rays which cost less than the devices we play them on. ¬.¬
