There’s already dates on the release date for it so might as well just say May 6th and May 13th for Monokuma dlc.

    So far…
The anime cutscenes are a nice touch, the battle system is very ‘P3’ like and the ‘PLOT’ is great, no doubt about that. LOL

  • AuraGuyChris

This is the closest we’ll get to Danganronpa stuff in the 3DS.

    • Testsubject909

      Get a Vita?

      • AuraGuyChris

My wallet is married to Nintendo, so it can’t cheat it with Lady Sony, you see.

        • Eder García

in b4 “but lady Sony has the biggest boobs of the market”

          • darke

Nintendo appears to attract those who prefer the small and petite type?

          • Mr_SP

            Makes sense.

          • M’iau M’iaut

What Nintendo game are they in again?

          • Mr_SP

They’re not. They’re the DS Mascots from Hyperdimension Neptunia, a PS3/Vita series.

      • domonkun

That sounds like a bad idea.

    • domonkun

Hopefully the DLC comes to 3DS

Neither the article nor the website say anything about it :S

  • TheGioG

A murderous animatronic bear of a dad vs. the impossibly adorable innocent daughter Torri? The bloodlust must’ve skipped a generation, thank goodness.
    “Torri, I am disappoint…”

  • Only one girl can remotely be consider to be the mother to Monokuma in this game. *shudders*

  • MrTyrant

What are the others dlc about?

    • darke

New quests; unlocking classes. They’re all listed on the terrible flash site linked.

  • laurenhiya21

I know this isn’t specifically about the Monokuma DLC but… Looking at the other DLC, there are some to get the item to be a Mercenary, Witch, Dark Night, Gun Saint, Diva, Trickster, and Ninja… Does anyone know if you can unlock these classes in game or do you have to pay for the DLC? (because that would suck if you had to pay for them…)

    • darke

I recall reading that you can, but they’re grind-tastic to get without buying them.

      • laurenhiya21

Well, hopefully that’s true because grinding a bunch is a lot better than paying for classes ><; (or at least I think so)

        • darke

Reading around the place a bit more, it seems that you need to get items to complete a quest to get this class, and this DLC just gives you a quest that drops the items or something?

Anyway, yeah, you can get the classes without the quests, it just takes longer. It’s just like DLC for the usual JRPGs that provides you high end items or craft materials that are rare to get otherwise.

  • Mirai

The school’s principal has arrived and along with it plenty of despair Upupupupu!!

    • Despair for my wallet but Hope for my heart full of video game love.

    • JohnNiles

I signed up for classmating, not class trials!

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

Torri: you are not a bird
Monokuma: sure I am, want to hear me sing?”upupupuupupupupu~”

  • Prinny Dood

Alright ladies its time *zip* Who’s first dood!?

    • Testsubject909

This made me laugh more then it should’ve…

I can’t help but imagine a Prinny falling flat as nothing but a prinny suit dropping as the soul inside flies out going “DOOOD! I MADE A MISTAAAAAAKEEEE!”

      • Prinny Dood

Where the hell were you before I unzip dood! Ack! Soul…leaving… me.. get.… *phew* that was close dood!

  • Uvers

importing the US version cause I have to have a physical copy but I’ve got a UK PSN account anyone think I’d be able to use these DLC if they’re put on UK store with my US vita cartridge

    • Elliott Moon

no you have to get usa dlc im believe but that means doing some tricks with your vita and a second memory card, i am also suffering from this dilemma and not sure if i should import it or or just get a digital copy when that comes out in the uk,why dose atlus hate europe so much :(

    • darke

Unlikely. DLC is region specific. If it were a PS3 game you could grab the US DLC then play on the UK account with the US-physical copy, but Vita doesn’t support multiple simultaneous accounts.

  • Juan Andrés Valencia

Slightly off-topic but how’s the framerate in the 3DS version? The demo ran very poorly. particularly on conversations.

    • Jormangund

Framerate’s pretty good on the 3DS imo. Didn’t notice any dips, and everything was pretty damn smooth. And how bad was the framerate in the Vita version, if you don’t mind me asking?

      • TheExile285

        Its fine

    • Kumiko Akimoto

I thought it lagged just a bit not too bad though.

  • Despair is indeed an universally infectious thing that defies even the barriers of reality.

    • Testsubject909

Just summon a bunny to beat it up then.

      • darke

I think summoning bunnies solves most of life’s problems… with the exception of the problem being too many bunnies. But that’s pretty rare unless you’re in Australia.

  • Spirit Macardi

Are they going to get Brian Beacock in to reprise his role as Monokuma? It’d be awesome if they did~

  • I saw free I did a thank you fist pump of joy. My wallet is a little bit heavier… for now.

  • SHSL Big Bro

Well, this is a game where the girls BEAR children, right? AHAHAHAHA.

  • Neppygear

I know I’ve already complained about the Euro release enough, but…
…ugh, Atlus, why do you have to hate us so? Digital-only releases are Satan.

    • Brandonmkii

Better than no release at all!

      • Hexodious

Ha, you’re way to late for that buddy. The “Better than no release at all!” already happened with their own MAIN game.
