Sony Computer Entertainment America have filed a trademark for something called “Bloodborne”. At present, no further details as to just what Bloodborne is are available, but perhaps we’ll hear about the game at E3 this year?

    Becauze pour literacy is kewl.

EDIT: Turns out it’s a totally real word… my bad XD

    • Bloodborne is an actual word.

      • Freud_Hater

Oh wow, it really is! :O Well, my mistake entirely, then. Makes sense, too, it’s like an airborne decease… except it’s bloodborne ‘-‘ Sorry, culture-lacking on my part XD

        • np, but interestingly enough it gives insight into what type of game this might be. sounds like a zombie type game.

    • Hagaren

I was just about to type that but then saw it’s an actual thing! =P

  • DesmaX

    Blackthorne sequel? lol

    • Freud_Hater

      I wish.

  • Liamv2

    Some vampire game maybe.

  • pokeroi

    *search on wiki bloodborne*
*result: A blood-borne disease is one that can be spread through contamination by blood and other body fluids*

Oh god, please don’t be a zombie game again.

    • I was thinking about something with Vampires? Or werewolfs? Both can transfer a so called virus/disease. Something like van helsing game would be awesome !

      • pokeroi

        I hope so….

    • SaiyanJedi_Trunks

Maybe it could be a plague that was transferred through tainted blood infusions and you as a super surgeon have to battle the disease while finding a cure?

      • ronin4life

        That is Trama Center, right?

        • SaiyanJedi_Trunks

          Yes!…how I miss that series.

I could go for something around these lines.

      • Göran Isacson

I would play Surgeons vs Zombies. The surgeons use like, syringe-guns to cure the zombies. Everything is superdramatic and amazing.

    • It could be like Flower but spreading a blood-borne disease instead of petals, in stead of blossoms and flowers you leave illness and death.

  • Roberto

maybe is a new bloody roar

  • Dingus

Seriously? No one even threw out BloodRayne yet?

    • PreyMantis

What would you throw BR!? Jerk!

  • doubleO7

    Bloody Roar 5?

“A boy has the right to dream…”

  • neo_firenze

Hmm, wonder if it has anything to do with H1Z1 (Sony’s DayZ-style zombie apocalypse MMO)… Name seems like it fits.

  • Audie Bakerson

    Ape Escape 4: Bloodborne

  • JustThisOne

I’m hoping this is some kind of horror game that’s really 80’s/early 90’s blood bath. :>

  • Death Saved

Im hoping its a game similar to Skyrim, yeah i know just cause it sounds similar to dragon born doesn’t mean anything, but hopefully Bethesda will get some competition.

    • Ecchitori-san

I thought Bethesda already had competition..

      • Death Saved

When it comes to depth yeah it gets it but kicked on a yearly bases but when it comes to scale not so much.

      • darke

Nah; Bethesda pretty much has the market for “release very pretty and extensively mod-able, but horrendously buggy games” cornered at the moment. :)

Only real competition would be The Witcher/CD Projekt RED, but they tend to be less mod-able and less amusingly buggy.
