IA/VT Colorful, Senran Kagura Creator’s Vocaloid Game, Delayed To Fall

By Spencer . June 17, 2014 . 5:43pm

image On top of Half-Minute Hero and the popular Senran Kagura series, Kenichiro Takaki is also making a game with the vocaloid IA. IA/VT Colorful was dated for July 31, but the game was just pushed back to fall 2014, according to this week’s Japanese magazines.

During E3, Siliconera met with Takaki-san where we talked about all of the game’s he has been working on including IA/VT Colorful. Look for that interview in the near future.

I have been playing Hatsune Miku PDf2 and I have been searching for this IA/VT too >.>

I am a sucker for rhythm games, hopefully this will be good too so I can import. Take your time and get it right.

  • DarkLight

Thought this was a localization announcement for a sec

  • Mika Moreno

I hope this gets localized. It’d be great for more Vocaloid games to make it over here!

  • carlospsp

=( at least i’ll be able to save some more money for the taxes fees

Looks like I’ll have to wait a little longer to get my hands on all that color lol. Can’t wait to see what else he’s working on too =^_^=

  • antochi

    The amount dosh I’m spending on video games this fall does not need any more editions. ;_;

  • AkuLord3

Well if its holding back to make it better, i’m fine with that. Maybe i’ll get the limited edition stuff now 8D

  • WhyWai

I really like the character design of this vocaloid.

  • Kornelious

Well that’s ok, this means I have more time to get my hands on the Limited Edition!…..what?……it doesn’t work that way?……….it’s still sold out?……Well shucks :(

    • Xerain

It’s not sold out…. It’s still on sale for $85 at amiami.

Unless you want the exclusive IA Smart Phone stand as well, which is another $10 on top. I passed on that as I already have the Miku Smart Phone stand. Not sure what I’d do with TWO smart phone stands.

      • darke

Buy another smartphone so you can have the IA one hold it? :)

        • Xerain

The bigger issue is that as an owner of various amiami exclusive bonus items, I just don’t think their smart phone stands are worth $10.

You’re paying for the exclusivity more than anythign else, true, however I have my Miku Smart Phone stand next to my Miku file case that came with PJD F. Both were a $10 upgrade… but there’s no comparison. The file case is amazing. The smart phone stand… is probably only worth $2, but I’d pay $5 for it given its exclusive nature.

I don’t own as much IA merchandise as I’d like, so I figure rather that spending $10 on a $2 smart phone stand that’s worth $5 to me, I’ll take that money and put it towards some IA merchandise with substance.

  • xXDGFXx

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I was looking forward to getting this next month T-T

  • Xerain

I just preordered the LE last week! I want my beautiful box!

  • Tenabrus

    hoping for a localization….

  • http://hanzoadam.tumblr.com/ Hanzoadam

    That’s a huge pushback

  • Yan Zhao

Welp, 2 months of extra wait for my LE box import :<

    • Lee Chueng

hang in there bro, you’re not the only one

  • Brandonmkii

I caught some of his tweets while he was there. He brought a tiny Asuka figure and took pictures of it in front of things haha

  • Shippoyasha

A little embarrassing for America seeing him order a McDonalds breakfast though. Not the classiest of American cuisine.

  • Xerain

This may come as a shock to some, but McDonalds is so integrated into the Japanese consciousness where I doubt they view it was American food. He may have actually gone to McDonalds for a little taste of home. Or more accurately, a little taste of everywhere on earth.

  • darke

McDonalds is average, but it’s consistent at being average. It could really just have been that he wanted something to eat, and didn’t want to think. Or didn’t want to worry about getting an upset stomach from something.

McDonalds doesn’t really advertise at being “perfectly average in every way, everywhere”, but that’s how they engineer their supply chain and food choices. :)
