Here’s How Monster Hunter Frontier G Uses The Vita Touch Screen

Recommended Videos

Monster Hunter Frontier G is headed to the PlayStation Vita next, and Capcom have shared a video of the online game, highlighting how it uses the Vita touch screen.

The video demonstrates features such as selecting chat messages and gestures, and zooming in and out of the area map using the touch screen while in the field. Item selection via the touch screen is shown as well.

Overall, it appears Frontier G uses the touch screen more or less the same way the mainline Monster Hunter games do, with the main difference being that those use the bottom screen on the Nintendo 3DS instead, and allow you to modify your UI to some extent.

Monster Hunter Frontier G will be released on Vita this August in Japan. Once the game is released, PS Vita owners and PlayStation 3 owners will be able to play on the same servers together.
