Ya know what would be awesome? If they showed us a North American release date.

Not gonna happen? Yea… thought so…

    • Renaldi Saputra

not gonna happen? maybe, but we can still ask Shahid for the #jrpgvita campaign

  • Strain42

What a fun looking game. I sure do look forward to NEVER BEING ABLE TO PLAY IT!!! -runs off sobbing-

    • Renaldi Saputra

yeah, damn you games with no furigana

  • Daniel Rossevelt

I can’t wait for this, I am so excited, no NA, no problem! (Well except i won’t understand any kanji, so i’ll probably only understand 1/1000 of it)

    • Renaldi Saputra

the bad news is, this game might not provide furigana, which usually all CERO A games had.

So I think this game will be CERO B++?

      • Daniel Rossevelt

Yeah i don’t think it will have furigana. And i think B or C would be a good guess for its CERO rating.

        • Renaldi Saputra

if it’s CERO C, then there might be some intense violence, or sexual thing…
for digimon games, I think there will be no things like that

          • Daniel Rossevelt

I’m not to familiar with CERO but C is like 15+, and would be like a T on ESRB, right, i just figured although not likely but it is possible, with the fact they said its a game more for adult fans. so i though it might be possible that this game gets a higher rating.

T in japan and T in western are very different

  • Abysswalker90

Ah, the wonders of region free systems.

    • Julio D. Zulkarnain

The pain of not knowing Japanese language…

      • Renaldi Saputra

the pain of seeing games with no furigana

        • Abysswalker90

The wonders of making an effort, oh how you pay up so.

          • ishyg

The pain of being in Japan and not knowing Nihongo, damn it.

  • Ash_Riot

I think this actually has a good chance of being localized by Namco or maybe even Sony (by their third party localization group).

    • Renaldi Saputra

unless we together tweet Shahid for the request

  • Snorlaxation

I miss digimon. I would love to play this

  • subsamuel01

Hoping they at least localize this, game looks amazing.

  • Anihilator

    This game looks pretty stylish!

  • Reeeally hoping this game gets localized.

  • ネオフォトン ~ Neo

I’ll probably import since we’ve yet to get an indication of localization, albeit it is early. Also depends on preorder bonuses, but this game is shaping up to what I want out of a Digimon game.

  • Vash bane

that evolution pic looks like……ugh don’t remember the name now <.<

  • Shady Shariest

No. Nope. No. Please. I… Please. No. Nope. Nej. Ei.
I keep almost forgetting about this game.
    And then this happens.
    The slim chance of local is hurrrrrrrrrrrting me ;_;

    • Renaldi Saputra

not slim, unless we tweet Shahid with #jrpgvita

      • Shady Shariest

I…Ah… Umm… Spamming a hashtag does nothing… Giving actual responses via twitlonger for example would be more benefiting. Just spamming a hashtag reduces everyone who takes part into a mass, just like what happened when Type-0 didn’t come to Vita.

It’s just victimization, not a course of action in any shape or form.

        • Renaldi Saputra

as long as Shahid still care, I don’t think so. Well, spamming is not good indeed. But, twitter is one of place where fans speak to the developer

          • Shady Shariest

But as long as its just a hashtag-campaign, Nope. Nobody could care less.

          • Renaldi Saputra

at least try something, not to be apathetic like most of Medarot fans, because of them being apathetic, we couldn’t have a chance to see Medarot 7 and Medarot Dual, even the Medarot 8 I guess no…

          • Shady Shariest

Not apathetic: But showing actual effort in things over copy-pasting tags.

          • Renaldi Saputra

we have 2 choices after all

            1. signing and spreading the re:digitize decode petition as Bamco had kept an eye to the petition, so if re:digitize decode get localized, chance for this is very big

            2. tweeting to shahid for the #jrpgvita campaign, or tweeting Bamco US/UK that we really need re:digitize decode and cyber sleuth in the west

          • Shady Shariest

            2. Is the problem: You have a choice of actually telling why it matters in depth and appeal.

          • Renaldi Saputra

            I don’t understand

          • Shady Shariest

When you courage to use hastags, you courage people to be mass. What happens when someone sees a large amount of tweets with exact same tag? They scroll over. Thinking there is nothing special in them.

Instead of hashtagging, why not courage people to actually write WHY this is important to them. It conveys a lot more than a tag. (+ cuts obsolete spamming people out) And in the longer run, does a better job at showing that there are people who liked Digimon, still like Digimon and would love to play a game about them =W=

          • Renaldi Saputra

hmm, well, but the way fans were requesting Tales of Hearts R was more or less like that, hashtagging

          • Shady Shariest

And there is not guarantee of it working. + it’s Tales. A big series.

The problem in social media and the feel of power in campaigns is that they are a placebo effect. Can bet that most of the times localization plans have been there. All hashtags did was to offer them a free shot at being “Good guys”.

And that is why it won’t work for Digimon, because that series regarding gaming has not seen a light of day for a while in the West, there are some reasons to feel uneasy at the thought of localization. But! Proper input helps, Xseed got some and now we have Senran Kagura Shinovi versus.

We are speaking about relativity and backgrounds when comparing Tales and Digimon in terms of local. Tales has more publicity and review success in West, while Digimon has an unknown marketing group.

Plenty of people preferred/prefer Digimon over Pokemon for example, but it’s hard to hit that group when localization and rerurns have practically made sure that Digimon has one of the most chaotic fanbases. Pleasing everyone is extremely tough and meaningless, so they need to be sure that the game appeals to large part of the fanbase.

These concerns create difference between more popular Japanese series’ like Tales, FF or to some extent; Disgaea’s and Digimon. And are the reason publishing it in the West will need more than hashtags. People need to actually tell why they wan’t the games, show that there is market for them.

And petitions, while a sweet idea, can (when printed) be used to wipe ones bum. They lack the power behind. Right now its a list of people who would wan’t the game, but no reasons to license it.

          • Renaldi Saputra

but the polling was won by Tales of Hearts R, and Bamco even admit it’s #jrpgvita

          • Shady Shariest

Really? Well. We are talking about the publisher that decided to cut SCV and then make an F2P SC… Why didn’t you say that first? Go ahead then. If they fall for it, why not abuse the system :3

edit: Oh wow. This is actually quite progressive.

I would love to see Virus Digivolution. For example I would love to digivolve my guilmon into Megidramon

    • Renaldi Saputra

it doesn’t need to do that, bcos evolution here is branching, megalogrowmon will have 2 branch evolution, into dukemon and megidramon….
it has been like that since the first digimon story in DS on 2006

      • Steven Higgins

It’s been like that since the very first V-Pet in 1997. Branched evolution I mean, not Guilmon specifically.

        • Renaldi Saputra

V-Pet isn’t categorized as console game. Usually in digimon games in PSX or PS2 there’s no megidramon available for guilmon’s evolution, starting from the DS series, they’ve been making it properly branched just like what digimon originally is
