Mighty No. 9 is getting a CG-animated series that will be produced by Digital Frontier, a company that does production work on motion pictures, games, TV shows, exhibitions and more. The series is planned for release in 2016, and is described as an “action-packed comedy aimed at kids 6-11”.

Digital Frontier are currently in talks with partners to decide upon the series’ showrunner and director. Animation production for the series will be managed in-house at Digital Frontier itself.

Digital Frontier say they’re currently planning a simultaneous worldwide release for the show, but territory-specific details have yet to be announced.
