Compile Heart and Tamsoft are developing an action game spinoff for the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. Ultra Dimension Action Neptunia U stays true to the series with mechanics from the core games like Lily Ranks.
Ultra Dimension Action Neptunia U lets players bring two characters onto the field and you can switch between them on the fly.
Bringing characters on quests together increases their Lily Rank. When this goes up you’ll get better support effects and you can see or rather listen to special voiced scenes.
Characters in Ultra Dimension Action Neptunia U are customizable. Players can customize which skills they want to have before and after transforming. You can also give characters different equipment when they are transformed, so you’ll have two sets in battle.
SP Skills like Neptune’s 32 Hit Exe Blade β uses a little bit of your skill meter when you use it. Noire’s Infinite Slash Exe Drive drains the entire meter.
Players can also choose different costumes for the Ultra Dimension Action Neptunia U characters.
When you defeat enemies you will earn medals. These can be exchanged for stat boosts or equipment.
Ultra Dimension Action Neptunia U comes out on August 28 for PlayStation Vita.
