We previously got a glimpse of Celica Ayatsuki Mercury and Lambda-11 who are headed to the arcade version of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma this Fall. 4Gamer follows up with a bunch of new screenshots showing the two in action.
Celica will be playable for the first time, and her playstyle consists of various combination attacks with Minerva, which can also be switched up during the fight with different input commands.
BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma’s battle planner also shared a note saying that Celica is recommended for new players, including those who’ve never really touched a fighting game before, but are curious about characters such as Celica, who will be pretty easy to control.
Celica can pull off various attacks using different button and joystick combinations.
This one shows some sort of anti-aerial attack.
In addition to an Overdrive attack with a feature that lets it get stronger, it can also heal up Minerva’s health, as well.
She also has different healing magic which can be used to recover Minerva’s health, bringing a whole different fighting style to the table.
The above is a look at her Distortion Drive special move.
Meanwhile, the battle planner shares a bit on Lambda, and reiterates that she’ll have the Luna Forma as the base. While she might control similarly to Nu-13, her Drive attacks will be pretty different.
Celica and Lambdawill be available on the arcade version of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma this fall.
