Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Shows More Of Yukina Himeragi And Rentaro Satomi

Sega’s light novel crossover fighting game, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, has introduced new characters from Strike the Blood and Black Bullet. In their latest video for the game, we get to see Yukina Himeragi and Rentaro Satomi in action.

The video starts out with Yukina from Strike the Blood in action. She is said to be a standard-type character who can deal some damage with close-ranged magic attacks that have quite the reach.

Next up, we get to see Rentaro Satomi from  Black Bullet give Sword Art Online’s Asuna a good beating. He’s considered a power-type fighter who can give himself nice buffs as well.

Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is currently available on arcades in Japan, and will release this Fall for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

….Damn it, Why did Sega have to be in charge of a game with so many cross-overs? :(

    • Import ahoy! It’s a fighting game, so it should be entirely playable without Japanese knowledge.

Game looks great; I’m looking forward to playing it on Vita.

    • Renaldi Saputra

      just like Bamco with J-Stars

  • Punny Fuzz

Still no Dokoro-Chan huh. c’mon guys.

    • ShawnOtakuSomething

      I would buy it then

  • Takane Shijou

And you’re still telling me Maou couldn’t be playable.

    Thanks for the ‘assist’.

  • Sorry, but I actually really want this game and it’s just for the fan service (characters like Rentaro and Asuna that I like). Bite me.

  • Land of Green Pasture

Hime seems quite big (no, not fat, I mean tall) in this one…. I wonder why…

  • Keeps getting better and better! :D

    Only left in Arcade version
could be Akira Yuki (with a little improvements) + another guest from
other company, also set the 2 playable guests as mid-boss and needs a
better final boss than Akira, while the other Dengeki almost forgotten
series would be later added to console, as well as best
supporting/villain character, including the deutragonist of Shana, Yuuji
Sakai. I mean, look at Under Night In-Birth, it got both Type-Moon’s
Sion (as Eltnum) & SUBTLE STYLE’s Akatsuki. Speaking of another
guest, Tecmo Koei will do since their Co-Op in developing DOA5, with Ryu Hayabusa (Assist: Momiji) can be the
game’s last guest candidate. & about boss, why was i thinking
Warrior Orochi’s titular villain as a better boss? look at his god-like
ability & his scythe. He can be like SNK Bosses

    Fear and Dokuro-chan when???

  • Mc-kun

Is this coming to the USA? If not no region lock? Also I agree I don’t understand why Maou couldn’t been playable or anyone from that series considering. Oh well at least I got Rentaro….. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

    • Renaldi Saputra

      no region lock

  • Harvey Tejada Loto

    so epic

  • Janrabbit

There needs to be a shonen jump game of the same nature

    • yeah the 3D beat em up game was a bit……. mediocre, the fan service in the game was decent from what i heard though, I only played a little bit of online vs at my friends

      • Janrabbit

yeah i’m sure the fan service was awesome. I just prefer 2D fighters waaaaaay more than 3D fighters :/

  • Linhua

… is it just me, or did that Robotic “You Win” sound REALLY creepy… XD

Honestly, the first thing I noticed when I saw the screen was the ARKS Shop Area.
