Trails in the Flash II Has Different Event Lines For Those With Data From The First Game

Falcom has a pretty neat pre-order campaign going on for The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash II, and it looks like they also have a few surprises for those that beat the first game. 4Gamer details some of the extra content players will get.

Those who have save data and have beaten the first game, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash, will get a special bonus item, which vary according to your level and student rank upon clearing the game.

Additionally, having save data from the previous game can also change some of the events. For example, Laura normally tells Rean that she’ll wield her sword as a member of Class VII. Having save data changes it to her telling Rean that she’ll be Reans “sword,” as a member of Class VII.

Additionally, 4Gamer shares a look at another returning character from the first game:

Duke Cayenne is one of the top figures of the Four Noble Families, and rules the western part of the Erebonian Empire, in the Lamarr State. He has enough financial power to make nearby countries look like nothing, and he knows how to spend his money with his luxurious lifestyle.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash II is slated for release in Japan on September 25, 2014 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Ahhh last game saves showing new things in the new game. Sucks that many games don’t do this anymore (some titles are bringing it back). Its a neat thing for fans who continued through each game.

The great thing is that all of Kiseki games do this between each other, Sora no Kiseki did so for SC and TC, and Zero no Kiseki did for Ao no Kiseki, looks like this one also does for Sen no Kiseki II, I hope they keep this up (I love seeing big numbers of HP and Damage at the start of a game lel)

It also add some replay value because Sen not only show “new short events” for the new game+ but also like the other kiseki games encourage to do everything and change your decision to see what is going to happen in next games.

    That…sounds awesome :(

Maaan the only series I can think of that used to do this was Golden Sun. Shame more games do not do this to encourage more sales and reward their fans…

The first three Suikoden games did it, too. Then they stated doing prequels and AUs, so I guess it wouldn’t have made sense to keep it up.
