Mega Man Battle Network is available on the Wii U Virtual Console in North America and Europe today.
Additionally, Capcom USA have announced that one Mega Man game will be released for Wii U every week until the end of August.
Here’s the line-up of games over the next four weeks:
Ain’t all of them different from one another? It’s just weird to jump straight into Battle Chip Challenge when they haven’t released the two previous games leading to it…
Isn’t Battle Chip Challenge non-canon? and doesn’t it play differently? Or am I thinking of the Japan only (that I can recall) MMBN 4.5?
It’s canon, except nobody mentions it ever again in the next three sequels.
Battle Chip Challenge is a lot more of a side game. It plays pretty differently and isn’t connected to any of the other Battle Network games.
It is connected to it. It falls right in the middle of MBN 3 and MBN 4. It’s basically a massive gathering of all the important characters from the first three games fighting in several tourneys.
and the entire excuse plot is based on the N grand prix from BN3. Also it’s kinda bad.
Well, I never said I liked it that much. :P
But I did like how it focused on five other characters that weren’t Lan.
Can’t wait! I just want all MMBN games on my Wii U .>)
>No internet multiplayer feature
As much as I love the MMBN series, I won’t re-buy it if they don’t add something of value.
Not capcom’s problem.
This is emulation not add features time
Not my problem either. I understand what you’re saying, but as I said, I won’t buy them again just to play this emulated version on the WiiU as I can play the “full” version on my GBA. If MMBN on WiiU had updated multiplayer mode, say online for example, I’d buy them …
mega man x3, nice!
I never actually played the first BN-game, jumped into the franchise with BN2. Could be neat to see where it all started.
It’s pretty fun to see how things have been streamlined. My first game was BN5, and when I went back to BN1 I was like Whoa…
It’s nice to find out the origins of some characters like Number Man and some other characters too. :)
Why can’t the 3ds eshop get these?
Because the 3DS isn’t powerful enough to run the emulation software.
And before the ambassador games are mentioned, they used a completely different method of emulation that didn’t offer save states or Miiverse integration.
and was laggy. Makes some of the thriller Wario Ware titles next to impossible
Looks like the VC releases for August have leaked. Goddamn Nintendo and their VC drip. One game a week and it’s never FF6
i will be crying tears of joy if they emulate Megaman Legends and Megaman Legends 2 on a WiiU T______T
one can only hope…
Wii U Virtual Console has save states? For which consoles? All of ’em?!
(I don’t have a Wii U yet.)
I think for all of them. I’ve seen them on NES, SNES, GBA, GBC games so far so. But there’s just ONE state for you to save. Get’s the job done to me.
That’s really awesome. I plan to buy a Japanese Wii U next year. I’m hoping for some sort of interesting limited edition system…
I didn’t realize people are willing to buy emulators….
Part of me was wishing for legends but I know for a fact that wont happen. For many, many reasons.
The fact that it’s already on the psp? Legends 1 and 2 bundle? You’re better off asking for legends 1 and 2 hd remake on Vita
Locally…? I’m not sure what you mean? It is on disc? What I’m saying basically is its impossible for a Sony exclusive to come to wii u is all, I’m so confused I have both games right here legends 1 and 2 came bundles together.
The PSP Legends bundle was never released outside of Japan is what I mean.
