Bullet Girls’ Bonus Scenario Shows Their “Daily” Lives

By Sato . August 15, 2014 . 1:10am

D3 Publisher and Shade are releasing a third-person shooter that looks like the lovechild of Call of Duty and Senran Kagura, with high school girls in a military training club. 4Gamer shows us some of the latest features on the upcoming PlayStation Vita game.

002 004 005 006 007

This is one of the urban warfare maps, where the battlefield takes place in the middle of the city that is full of buildings, shops, and various obstacles. You can also climb on top of roofs to shoot down the enemies below.

008 009 010 011 012 013

The girls of the Ranger Corps can actually get all their clothes blown off, but as long as they’re still healthy, the fight continues. When that happens, a convenient cloud will be around to cover their private parts, so they can go on fighting without any worries.

One of the important parts of being a Ranger Corps girl is knowing how to resist against enemy interrogations, as they’ll try touching the girls up to get any information possible. Here’s a look at some extra items that will be put to use for interrogation training purposes:

014 015

A “vibrating thingy” and a cat paw.

016 017

Water gun and cockroach.

… and some Natto [fermented soybeans].

019 020 021 022 023

The above images demonstrate what the interrogation training looks like with the new items.

Finally, here’s a look at the bonus scenario that unlocks upon meeting certain requirements in the game:

024 025 026 027 028 029 030

The bonus scenario revolves around their everyday life, but that still doesn’t explain why they’re shown in their underwear, swimsuits, and maid outfits. Hmm, perhaps it’s another part of their regular training?

Bullet Girls is slated for release on August 21, 2014 in Japan for PlayStation Vita.

  • Isuke-sama

Call of Duty: Japan Edition aka Moe Warfare

    • SaiyanJedi_Trunks

I know I have posted this before…but yeah, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

      • Isuke-sama

Clumsiest yet most adorable merc ever, I’ll buy it.

  • Kaien

    XSEED, give it to me!

    • Renaldi Saputra

I heard XSEED won’t localize any sexual fanservice game anymore beside senran kagura series. Also this is D3

      • Brimfyre

They said they don’t localize with the mindset, “Let’s localize fanservice games!” they never said they won’t go after fan service games again.

        Protip: They will.

        • Renaldi Saputra

But D3 games were never done by Xseed such like dream club series

  • Shippoyasha

The insect torture is terrifying me right now. I just thought there was a big roach on my screen..

    • wererat42

I have to agree, that bit is kind of messed up.

      • waterblaze123

I hate bugs and it feels like torture to me!! I did order the game though all paid for just awaiting for it to ship out now.

    • Limbless

I’d spill the beans if someone threatened to shove a cockroach in my face.

      • darke

Cockroach is nothing; some varieties of Australian venomous spiders, then I’d be worried about it. >.>

    • SaiyanJedi_Trunks

Well, you can always use the “vibrating thingy.”

    • Isuke-sama

That roach part actually reminds me of that bug scene in Dream Club.

  • John Hayabusa

Come for the guns, stay for the GUNS.

    • Spidermang

      Stay for the PLOT

      • Aristides

        GUNS with PLOT

  • Michael Richardson

Haha, this game is never coming overseas unbutchered. I want it so bad. *_*

    • Renaldi Saputra

Why so hard? You can simply import
And I bet there’s not much texts that you must really understand
Just learning hiragana and katakana is more than enough to play it well

  • Kyosuke Yoshino

Hmm… so far I’ve been hesitating which to buy first, this or Neptune U, since they’re being released on the same day, but looks like I’ll get this first :3

  • Nonscpo

With everything that’s happened this past year in terms of localization for the vita, its just difficult to believe that this game won’t get localized. Exactly how Bad are D3 when it comes go their licensing?

    • Renaldi Saputra

I don’t know but they don’t localize game for otaku-stuffs like Dream Club series

      • darke

Yeah, but this is a shooting game; that’s a near pure VN from what I’ve seen of it, that’s why it’s not localised.

        • Renaldi Saputra

But D3 games were never done by 3rd parties. For onechanbara, I remember they localized it themselves

But mostly D3 make games for a destignated audiences. If it focuses on japanese things like moeblob sexual shooting like this or idol girl series like dream club series then it will be japan only
But they’ve done several games especially shooting or military things for west only audiences

  • Yan Zhao

Stripping seems to be the new hot trend in Japan now, Akiba’s Strip, Senran Kagura, this, and the new Neptunia game.

    • darke

Huh? Now? Akiba’s Trip is a 2011 game. That’s hardly a ‘new’ trend; the game was released 6 months before even the Vita was. :?

      • Yan Zhao

I was referring to the one we just got in the West, which I believe is Akiba’s Strip 2 which was also released less than a year ago.

        • darke

Sure, but that’s a sequel to an old game released 3 years ago… who’s whole premise was ‘stripping’; it was it’s core game mechanic rather then simply being ‘fanservice’.

Also as planetofthemage pointed out The 3rd Birthday came out 5-6 months again before Akiba’s Trip, so where is the ‘new’ part of this? No doubt there’s other games that I’ve forgotten to mention as well which feature clothing destruction.

So it’s hardly a ‘new’ trend. I don’t think people would even be commenting on it if it weren’t for the Neptune game being released by the same devs as the Senran games which is no doubt why it has stripping.

          • Yan Zhao

My point was theres a lot more of these games coming out back to back nowadays.

          • Shippoyasha

The idea of clothes destruction is pretty old though. Even games in the 80s had clothes destruction elements. It was also a thing even in 70s anime and manga. I suppose technology is better to allow that in games more seamlessly in action games, and developers largely make games for Japanese audiences these days where stuff like this isn’t that big a deal.

          • Renaldi Saputra

Strippin game has been since Ikkitousen on PS2

      • planetofthemage

And didn’t The 3rd Birthday come out at the same time? That game also has clothing destruction.

  • SaiyanJedi_Trunks

I love the angled screens showing them with their respective weapons. It feels so right to me.

Also, I have mad respect for them fighting to the bitter end with their clothes blown off. They can be in my army any day.

  • Can’t wait

  • Brimfyre

That vibrator thingie looks like a Tachikoma

  • indra jaya

hey… when I’ll get the game adaptation of GUNSLINGER GIRL on vita? :(

    • Isuke-sama

      There’s one?

      • indra jaya

no… not on vita at least. I spotted it on ps2 long time ago. I hope they make that on vita though, some screenshot above reminds me of gunslinger girl.

        • Isuke-sama

Ah I remember those games, they were a bit fun though. Good old memories.

  • Aristides

    hope NISA grabs this :3

    • Neight Jirachi Simmons

Nisa is the last company I would want to ever touch this.

    • Renaldi Saputra

But prepare for the censorships everywhere
Anw I doubt they will do it
They never do D3 games like dream club series

  • raymk

I want this game, it’ll make me interested in buying shooters again.

  • raeldor

Pervstation Vita strikes again, lol. Not that I’m complaining! :D

  • Kornelious

….I still haven’t given up hope for this game!…..I’m counting on you XSeed! XD

    • crazyhunter

Xseed already said they wont be localizing more games with fanservice

    • fyi1191

Can Xseed even touch this game?

  • gwardyjay

The fan service aside, this actually looks fun.

  • AndyLC

All the girls are wearing Buneary pants

  • X_Bacon

    Ewwww, natto

  • ronin4life

I actually looked at one of the videos for this a few weeks back. I have been wishing for a fun, non serious or even perhaps straight up more light hearted TPS that focuses more on free form gameplay and solid fun shooting mechanics than the common story focused and corridor light gun setups shit.

… but heavy damage and Auto aim?

    My search continues…
Oh, and the fan service is a thing too I guess.
