This Week In Imports: Bullet Girls Targets Japan

By Spencer . August 18, 2014 . 4:00pm

imageYears before Senran Kagura, D3 Publisher was dabbling with games heavy on fanservice like Onechanbara and their Simple Series mahjong games. Marvelous and other publishers have made a small fortune off fanservice and it seems like Bullet Girls is D3 Publisher’s attempt to get some of that audience.

Also coming out in Japan on Thursday is Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition from Square Enix and a Chaos;Head double pack for Vita. In the West, Bandai Namco has Tales of Xillia 2 set for release in North America and Europe.

ToX 2 in the west this week? Haven’t heard anything about it until now. I should probably get around to finishing the first one. Will probably pick up the sequel at a discount sometime in 2015.

    • ZEROthefirst

Comes out tomorrow in the U.S. and on Friday in Europe.

    • People that ordered from Namco’s Store already have it

  • TheBeefBus

Also, the US release of SAO for the vita!

  • I may get Bullet Girls by Friday, if they ship it in Japan on Wednesday

  • Nerroth

Does the list of domestic and European releases only cover games with physical editions?

I was somewhat surprised to not see Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment marked down for the PS Vita in both Europe and North America, though it is a PSN-only title in both regions.

EDIT: Bamco posted this to mark the occasion:

  • kuzuha

Looks like otomate’s otoges are moving to Vita.

  • I’ve got Bullet Girls and Choas;head Dual pre-ordered at amiami, will be shipped end of the month with Kirigiri and Kaga =]

  • Is this only for physical releases or you forgot SAO?
