Freedom Planet has been delayed twice and it was supposed to come out for Wii U today. Unfortunately, developer Galaxy Trail said the patch they were working on did not fix all of the freezing issues in in the Wii U version.

The team apologized to fans for the successive delays and reassured Freedom Planet is still coming to Wii U. Instead of setting a release date, the team opted to not announce one until they were sure the game was ready for release on Wii U.
