Uppers Gets A New July 14 Release Date In Japan

Senran Kagura producer Kenichiro Takaki’s upcoming brawler Uppers initially had an April 21 release, but was delayed due to low pre-order numbers. Marvelous now announced that the game is releasing on July 14, 2016. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

If you’re wondering about the reason of the delay and its low pre-order numbers, Takaki previously mentioned that the low pre-order numbers they had for the game wasn’t something they’d consider tough to swallow in this market, but he felt that they can believe in the title’s power and possibilities a little more, so they basically wanted to make the most out of it. You can read more from him here.

Uppers will release on July 14, 2016 in Japan for PlayStation Vita.
