A special hard-coded secret password in later Western versions of River City Ransom has been discovered by YouTube user Bisqwit. When entered as either the first or second player’s password, the password grants fully maxed-out stats, $999.99, as well as all six of the technique books. In addition, after doing so, the first player’s name will be changed to Shin.
