Million Onion Hotel – An Arcade Puzzler Or Poetry, Weirdos, Tapping Onions

Million Onion Hotel is a game about the strange visitors to a stranger hotel, mysterious soups, and the odd appeal of tapping at onions and anything else that happens to appear in this arcade puzzler, whether players understand what is going on or not.

From Yoshino Kimura, developer of Chulip and Little King’s Story, Million Onion Hotel takes players to an oddball hotel where many come to dine on a magical onion soup. One night, the people staying at this hotel find themselves drawn into another universe, one filled with deep space cows and onion knights.

Million Onion Soup tasks players with tapping on cheerful onions that pop up on their screen, trying to do so in lines in order to get boosts and higher scores. However, this is only the beginning of the things that happen, as players will find their hotel guests popping up, cows floating by, onion knights attacking weird heads, humanoid asparagus coming out of the earth, and more. All the player can do is tap as often as possible, as the game’s description states “Even you don’t know what’s going on, don’t care about it, tap very much like crazy anyway.”

As players do well (even if they’re not sure how they’re doing well), they can unlock various bits of story about the guests, as well as several different goofy visitors to the hotel.

Million Onion Hotel is available now on iOS and Android.
