Recently, an image of Super Mario Odyssey-themed cereal has surfaced online, leading to rumors that the wholesome game may in fact be accompanying a wholesome breakfast. Thanks to Kellogg’s UK’s Twitter, we now know that this is a confirmed upcoming breakfast product. The Super Mario cereal will be released in the US but is not planned for a UK release.

What is interesting is the fact that the cereal box (or at least a chip at the bottom) will act as an amiibo that is confirmed to work with Super Mario Odyssey. It seems Nintendo has found yet another way to ‘milk’ the game, after all.
