Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy is a giant monster battle across time and space, with players guiding a crew of huge monster heroes against giant monster villains as they work to stop the plans of the evil Dr Cube.
During a Title Fight match between Dr Cube and American Beetle, the sinister doctor uses a secret weapon to rip open a hole in time, setting out across the centuries to stir up trouble and gain fame in Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy. The player must guide their crew of heroic monsters to different places and time to stop him, battling other huge monsters in each world.
Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy does away with random encounters, having players duke it out with other creatures through making contact with them on the map, then using their unique monster abilities in turn-based combat. The player’s monsters can also use their unique powers on the map to deal with environmental puzzles, unlocking hidden paths and treasures. These might be useful for the game’s silly sidequests, where players will help defeat musclebound mummies, adopt cats, or rescue lost kaiju.
