imageTomy is testing all of the features on the Nintendo 3DS with Naruto Shippuden: Nin-rittai Emake! Saikyou Ninkai Kessen or Naruto Shippuden 3D: The New Era as its being called in Europe.

The Naruto game for the Nintendo 3DS has quick tilt events. Players have to quickly move the system to make Naruto dodge. If you’re successful an animation will play showing Naruto evading the attack. Miss and Naruto takes damage.

Outside of tilt events, Naruto Shippuden 3D: The New Era is a side-scrolling action game. Similar to Tomy’s Ninja Academy series players can call other characters from the series for special attacks. Sakura, Sai, Kakashi, Yamato, Shikamaru, Rock Lee, Neji, Hinata, Killer Bee, and sage toads Fukasaku & Shima are confirmed to be in the game. Tomy hid ninja scrolls in levels for players to find. Grab these and you can power-up Naruto by increasing his life, chakra meter, and how fast the support gauge recovers.

Naruto Shippuden 3D: The New Era comes out on March 31 in Japan and slated for release this year in Europe.
