Sega announced Phantasy Star Nova which takes place in the same world as Phantasy Star Online 2. It will be an offline game and sold in stores unlike PSO2. Players can connect together through ad-hoc play. The biggest surprise is tri-Ace is the developer of Phantasy Star Nova. Sega also showed a giant monster called Gigantes, which players will fight.
