This Week In Imports: Pirates, Ninjas, Demons, Dragons, And Souls

By Spencer . March 23, 2015 . 4:00pm

image Japanese publishers are going all out this week starting with Bloodborne. From Software and Sony collaborated to create a dark action game that brings their work from the Souls series for the current generation of consoles. Also on PlayStation 4 this week is Disgaea 5. Nippon Ichi Software’s strategy RPG has new classes and a bigger story centered around the theme of vengeance.

Bandai Namco has One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4. The hack and slash pirate game makes Shanks playable for the first time. Sword Art Online: Lost Song also comes out for PS3 and Vita this week along with an upgraded version of Deception IV from Koei Tecmo Games. Marvelous also moves onto PS4 with Senran Kagura: Estival Versus. The next title in the ninja beat ’em up series will also be available for Vita this week too.

While the 3DS lineup is light, there is one key title – Theatrhythm Dragon Quest. The Nintendo 3DS game is a follow up to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call with Dragon Quest music and battles designed to look like the iconic RPG series.
