Shovel Knight amiibo Appears On UK Retailer’s Twitter

The Twitter account for GAME Brighton, one of the GAME stores in East Sussex, UK, has tweeted about a Shovel Knight amiibo. According to the post, the figure will be released on November 27 in the United Kingdom and GAME Brighten will begin taking pre-orders for the figure on August 28.

The GAME Brighton tweet has since been deleted, but here is a screencap revealing the Shovel Knight amiibo announcement.

The information states that it will be compatible with Shovel Knight on the 3DS and Wii U, and will eventually work with additional Yacht Club Games titles. It does not mention Super Smash Bros.

Shovel Knight is immediately available on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U, with a free Plague of Shadows expansion on the way.
