New Service Will Let Dragon Quest Of The Stars Players 3D-Print Their Avatars

Square Enix has teamed up with Japanese 3D printing company Rinkak to provide a service that lets all Japanese Dragon Quest of the Stars players get 3D prints of their in-game avatars (thanks Crunchyroll).

The collaboration between the two companies started in November 2015 when a contest was held to let 100 winners get 3D prints of their avatars. The idea proved so popular that it has now been extended as an offer to all players.

The service is due to launch in February 2016 in Japan and will be available through the smartphone game itself.
