Akiba’s Beat has been delayed. In a new post on the official website, Acquire says people in Japan can expect to play the JRPG on their PlayStation 4s and PlayStation Vitas in winter 2016. The game is being delayed so more time can be spent on its development and ensure it meets expectations.

An updated release date for the North American release has yet to be announced. Originally, Akiba’s Beat was supposed to come westward in winter 2016.

Akiba’s Beat was previously expected to arrive on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on October 13, 2016.
