Rive Will Come To The Nintendo Switch Instead Of The Nintendo Wii U

Two Tribes has announced a platform shift for Rive. Back when the game was announced in 2014, the Nintendo Wii U was among the potential platforms for the developerā€™s final game. Now, it has confirmed that Rive will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2017.

Rive is a twin-stick shooter with platforming elements packed into it. Two Tribes is working with Engine Software on this version of the game, which will run at 60 FPS and include an exclusive Nintendo Switch expansion. Players will control an upgradeable spider tank in the game and use it to shoot through enemies. It is possible to gather hacks and use them to control enemy turrets, drones, and other units. In addition to the campaign, there are Single-Credit and Speedrun modes.

Rive is immediately available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
