Everyone with a copy of Kid Icarus: Uprising has a new reason to get out their copy of the game today. Nintendo has decided to release a previously unseen Kid Icarus: Uprising AR card. It made its debut on official Japanese and Australian Twitter accounts to celebrate the upcoming release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch.

The Kid Icarus: Uprising AR card is known as Pit (Victory). It shows the character giving a peace sign. The official accounts note that it does contain spoilers for the Nintendo 3DS game.

In Kid Icarus: Uprising, people could scan the AR cards to get idols and 100 Hearts. It and Medusa (Rare) are the only two cards to not receive a physical release. Copies of the game came with one pack of six cards, and people originally had to buy booster packs to complete the 402 card set.

Kid Icarus: Uprising made its Nintendo 3DS debut in March 2012.
