Earlier this month we got a teaser for a little collaboration project between Mega Man and the Japanese idol group Team Shachi. At the TGS 2019 Capcom revealed it as a cute smartphone game that is available to check out for free now.

Team Shachi’s latest single “Rocket Queen feat. MCU” is a loud-pop-tune that dramatically remixes Dr.Wily’s theme song from the classic Mega Man game!

Mega Man 20XX ~Fight! Team Shachi~ is available to check out here on smartphones. The goal is to take on the role of a Team Shachi member and save the world from Mega Man who gets brainwashed and turned into a giant destructive robot.
Here are some details on the four:
Nao – Shachi Buster: aka. Mega Buster.
Yuzuki – Shiny Knuckle – A special weapon that can destroy specific blocks, based on Megaman’s Hard Knuckle.
Haruna – Chicken Wing Shield – Just like the “Leaf Shield”, the chicken wings will fly around to protect you from enemy attacks. It eats up a lot of energy so use it wisely!
Honoka – Shachi Drone – Team Shachi’s support machine! A rising platform will appear to help you navigate through the stage. It won’t disappear even if you switch characters :)

All your favorite characters from “Mega Man 2” are back in action! They might be older, but tougher than ever!
Metal Man – Although his beard is quite impressive, his “Metal Blade” has rusted noticeably.
Air Man – He modified himself into a tank, and always seem to be panting from lack of air.
Bubble Man – He now needs the IV drip to shoot the bubbles.
Quick Man – Doesn’t look so quick anymore. Don’t ever bother asking his weight!
Crash Man – The silky white beard has become his trademark. Seems to have trouble getting his bombs to crash.
Flash Man – His head has become quite flashy. Needs glasses to protect his eyes from all the dazzle.
Heat Man – Went through a lot, and now he can’t go anywhere without his bottle of booze.
Wood Man – He’s become an old tree, and can’t go anywhere without his stick. His heart hasn’t withered yet though.
