Fatal Inertia must have been a development nightmare for Koei Canada. Koei originally announced the Wipeout-style racer as a PlayStation 3 launch title. After appearing on the Xbox 360, nearly a year after the PS3 launch, it’s coming out sometime this month as a PlayStation Network download. Koei hasn’t announced the price for Fatal Inertia EX(tra? ceed?) in North America, but in Japan it will cost 3,800 yen ($36). That’s nearly half off the price of the retail Xbox 360 version which Koei sold for 7,140 yen ($69) and Fatal Inertia EX is supposed to have eight new tracks tucked in the proving grounds.

Fatal Inertia was released for $40 in the USA. If we're sticking to the same discount scale Fatal Inertia EX will fall in the $20 range when it comes out on the PlayStation Store in North America.
