The Abandoned Hospital’s Curse plays like an adventure game where you can examine objects by pressing the A button. You can equip items to the X button and use them to solve puzzles.

Ghastly nurses patrol the halls and force the players to find a place to hide.

The Abandoned Hospital’s Curse also has a photography element where you move the 3DS and press R to take pictures of souls. D3Publisher also added standard controls with the slide pad for players too. Photos can be developed and saved on a SD card for later viewing.
