A Chroma Squad Nintendo Switch Port Will Take Super Sentai-Managing Action On The Go Again

Recommended Videos

Chroma Squad, the tactical RPG where you manage a group of stunt people who team up to create their own super sentai show, is going portable again. A Nintendo Switch port of the game has been announced by Plug In Digital. A release date has not been set, beyond “soon.”

In Chroma Squad, players follow a group of stunt people who are fed up with their current employer’s abuse and decide to create their own Power Rangers-like show. You have to hire actors, handle marketing, and purchase props (equipment), treating it like a TV management simulation in some ways. That is, until you get into an “episode.” Then, it turns into a strategic-RPG. Every character has skill trees, we customize mechs, and there are even multiple endings.

Here is the launch trailer for the Chroma Squad PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports, which shows off a bit of its gameplay.

Chroma Squad is headed to the Nintendo Switch. It is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices. A PlayStation Vita port was once planned, but it was ultimately canceled.
