Capcom have a new Sengoku Basara game in development for the Mobage Town mobile phone platform in Japan. Titled Sengoku Basara Mobile, the social game has you serve warlords and guide their armies “toward unification of the realm”.

Capcom haven’t detailed how the game will play out, but they do mention a focus on communication and cooperation.

Additionally, there’s also a new Sengoku Basara animated feature film, titled Sengoku Basara -The Last Party-, headed to Japanese theatres on June 4th. Between the film, the mobile phone game, Sengoku Basara: Chronicle Heroes on PSP, and upcoming promotional events, Capcom’s promotional campaign for the series is in full swing.

As for Sengoku Basara Mobile, Capcom hope to have the game out in June. As tends to be the case with Mobage Town titles, the game will earn its profits through the purchase of in-game items by users.
