A Twin-Stick Shmup In Which You Play A Crow In A Grim World

Recommended Videos

Due out in spring 2016, A Quiver of Crows isn’t your typical twin-stick shooter – it has you playing as a crow.

Not just any old crow, mind you, one that can shoot laser beams out of its mouth. And that’s only the start of it. You see, you have to flap your little wings through a grim world made of flesh, bones, and dirt, blasting your way through demons and ghouls all in order to rescue your fellow crows.

Along the way, you’re able to upgrade your crow’s weapons to bombs, plasma bullets, and shields to withstand attacks. Enemies all have unique behavior and are made to be unpredictable in their movements outside of preferring to get up close to attack or shoot your crow from far away.

The latest update to A Quiver of Crows sees the creators outlining the most powerful weapon in the game. It’s a short-range laser beam and is demonstrated in the video above.
