Bandai Namco shared the latest trailer for Accel World vs. Sword Art Online, where we get to see a demonstration of different multiplayer modes the PS4 and PS Vita game offers.
Starting at the 0:50 mark, we get to see some gameplay action with a demonstration of the “GS Active Change Battle” system that lets you choose three characters from both Accel World and Sword Art Online to make a dream party. This system allows you to switch between your three characters in real-time.
Accel World characters specialize in fighting on the ground and have special attacks as well as “Accel Moves.” Sword Art Online characters are all about aerial combat, and they have the ability to use magic and sword skills.
At 1:21 we get to see a bit of the 4v4 online battles. In this mode, you’ll team up with friends to come up with a party in order to take on powerful rivals from around the world. Players will also get to tag up with friends to take on quests. There are also fields that allow up to 16 players to explore together.
Accel World vs. Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight releases in Japan on March 16, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game releases in North America and Europe in Summer 2017.
