Affordable Space Adventures is what its title suggests: a lightweight space exploration game infused with stealth and puzzle challenges. It’ll be coming to the Wii U eShop on April 9th.

But it shouldn’t be dismissed for its accessibility. Not when it has been designed in a collaboration between Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party creator KnapNok Games and proven indie game creator Nicklas "Nifflas" Nygren.

Nifflas is most well-known for Knytt Stories, which provided a magical adventure that excelled in its sense of exploration, as well as acting as a tool for players to create their own 2D stories on PC since 2007. His talent for creating atmospheric, mysterious 2D adventures continued in NightSky and Knytt Underground.

So, hopefully, he has been able to infuse Affordable Space Adventures with a similarly enticing mystery. The team claims that there will be plenty of “thrills, spookiness and beautiful areas” to see, as well as a range of challenges – from family friendly to extreme.

Oh, and you can work with two friends to try to control the Uexplore “Small Craft” ship to maneuver it through the myriad challenges. Find out more about Affordable Space Adventures on its website.
