It’s been rumored that Aksys picked up the rights to Guilty Gear XX Accent Core via Gamefly and now it’s official. Aksys plans to bring out Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the Playstation 2 and the Wii sometime this year. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core has over 20 characters including, A.B.A and Order-Sol. You might remember that the PS2 release is plagued with bugs. As of now it is unknown if Aksys plans on adjusting the PS2 release and if the same glitches appear in the Nintendo Wii release.

Update (thanks matty!): Aksys IS going to fix the glitches in the Playstation 2 version!

We just wanted to let everyone know that all the bugs found in the Japanese version of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core will be fixed for the American version. So hopefully everyone's worries will be put to rest.

So go out and reserve it!

Next week at Anime Expo, Aksys is going to give attendees a first look at the game and they are hosting a Guilty Gear tournament with some unannounced prizes. Also if you’ve got a copy of Hoshigami Remix, make sure you bring it to get some exclusive in game items.

You can see some more screenshots of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core past the break.
