Square Enix launched their smartphone game Alice Order by Million Arthur producer Hiroaki Iwano earlier this year, and the company already announced that they’re terminating service for the game.

Alice Order was announced last year with Hioraki Iwano and huke, known as Steins;Gate’s main visuals illustrator. With scenario written by Kyopichi Nanatsuki and music by Yuuki Hayashi, the “psychic mystery RPG” sounded pretty promising, but Square Enix’s announcement of the game’s termination this September would mean that it only got to see eight months of service.

Square Enix says that after internal discussion, they decided that it would be difficult to continue providing service that could satisfy its users, so they decided that it was best to end its service.

The micro-transaction “Diamond” currency will no longer be available starting August 31, 2016, and the game will end its service on September 30, 2016 at 3:00pm JST. Alice Order launched in Japan on January 28, 2016 for Android and iOS.
