Where to find all Grasslands Fiend Intel locations in FF7 Rebirth

There are a total of six Grasslands Fiend Intel in FF7 Rebirth. You will first gain access to the open-world region in Chapter 2: A New Journey Begins. Usually, you will discover Intel locations by powering up Remnawave Towers throughout each region. However, some players may just want to focus on a specific World Intel. We got you covered, as we have mapped out every Fiend Intel in the Grasslands.

Unlike other Chadley research, Fiend Intel does not require you to complete them to unlock their location. If you discover their location on the map, you can start them anytime. However, each Fiend Intel have their own unique Objectives. While you don’t have to finish all objectives to complete the Fiend Intel, you will get better rewards for doing so.

For your convenience, we will break down the exact location of each Grasslands Fiend Intel and their objectives.

Grasslands Fiend Intel 1: Voracious and Venomous

For the Grasslands Fiend Intel 1, you will be taking on Venorat. These small creatures are pretty easy to take out, so be careful not to kill them before completing your objectives. Venorat is weak to Ice, so use Blizzard spells to raise its pressure bar. The only major challenge here is avoiding get poisoned. So make sure to dodge a lot with Cloud or use long-ranged attacks.

  • Pressure an enemy.

Grasslands Fiend Intel 2: Bearer of Grudges

You will be battling Emidunk for Grasslands Fiend Intel 2. This one is fairly easy because the giant creatures are weak to both fire and ice. So spam Blizzard and Fire to get their Pressure and Stagger up. You can use Tifa or Red XIII if you are struggling to get the Pressure objective done.

  • Pressure an enemy.
  • Stagger an enemy.
    • Emidunk Weakness: Fire and Ice.
  • Defeat all enemies within the time limit.

Grasslands Fiend Intel 3: Keepers of the Burrow

In Grasslands Fiend Intel 3, you will have to take on two versions of Mi. One Mi is fire-based, and the other is ice-based. So the way to complete this objective, is to use Blizzard on the Fire Mi, and Fire spells on the Ice Mi. The challenge here is not to knock out the enemy before you get a stagger both elements.

  • Pressure both fire- and ice-imbued enemies.
  • Stagger an enemy.
    • Mi Weakness: Fire and Ice.
  • Defeat all enemies within the time limit.

Grasslands Fiend Intel 4: Wailing Weed

You will be facing off against the Mandrake in Grasslands Fiend Intel 4. While not too difficult, the tricky thing about this fight is avoiding their “Quick Nap” spells. If you get hit with it, then you will fail the objective. Mandrake is weak to Fire and Ice, so use Blizzard or Fire spells to Stagger it.

  • Prevent enemies from using Quick Nap.
  • Stagger an enemy.
    • Mandrake Weakness: Fire and Ice.
  • Defeat all enemies within the time limit.

Grasslands Fiend Intel 5: Picky Eater

For Grasslands Fiend Intel 5, you will be taking on Aggrevrikon. Like the other Fiend Intel in the Grasslands, Aggrevrikon is weak to Ice and Fire attacks. So make sure to spam Blizzard as much as you can to stagger and pressure. There aren’t any special objectives in this one except defeating them within the time limit.

  • Pressure an enemy.
  • Stagger an enemy.
    • Aggrevrikon Weakness: Fire and Ice.
  • Defeat all enemies within its time limit.

Grasslands Fiend Intel 6: Voltaic Canine

Finally, Grasslands Fiend Intel 6 has you facing off against Thunderclaw. Unlike the other fiends on this list, Thunderclaw has no weakness. To Stagger and Pressure it, you need to use Cloud’s Punisher Mode, as well as swap to characters such as Tifa and Red XIII.

  • Pressure an enemy.
  • Stagger an enemy.
    • Thunderclaw weakness: None
  • Defeat all enemies within the time limit.

Once you’ve completed at least 4 of the Grasslands Fiend Intel, you will unlock a special boss battle on the map that lets you obtain the FF7 Rebirth Quetzalcoatl Talon item needed to craft the Windmill Gear.
