Allison Road’s Kickstarter Cancelled, Picks Up Publisher

The creators of P.T.-style horror game Allison Road has cancelled the Kickstarter. It was being used to acquire funds for the game’s development for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

 

But this is good news and not bad news as the reason the Kickstarter has been cancelled is that Allison Road now has a publisher.

 

The team will be working with Team 17 to bring the horrors to life. Team 17 is known for creating the Worms series but in recent years has been publishing indie games too. “Working with Team17 will give us the chance to make our game unhindered creatively, but at the same time will give us the resources, support and experience that only a 25 year old studio can give,” writes the Allison Road team.

 

Just before the Kickstarter’s cancellation, there were new environments revealed through concept art, showing the game outside of the house and venturing into some creepy woods. You can see the images below.
