Alwa’s Awakening takes the player to a world of interconnected places and confounding puzzles, having them solve these strange mechanisms buried deep in monster-filled dungeons to save the people of this land.
Players act as Zoe, a young sorceress with a magical staff that can be imbued with several different abilities and elements. Using it, as well as several other artifacts that are hidden throughout the sprawling world, players will be able to chart a path through the game’s four-hundred rooms, solving puzzles and purging catacombs of monsters based on their own equipment, skills, and reflexes.
Alwa’s Awakening makes no attempt to force the player down a given path, but will instead let them decide on their own route through it based on intuition and hints from the few friendly people they meet on their journey.
