One pack will include a total of 3 cards. A total of 48 cards are available to obtain through the series 5 amiibo card packs. While the cards originally released in November, 2021, a majority of storefronts immediately sold out. This is the first time Nintendo is reprinting and re-selling these cards through its official storefront. Animal Crossing characters found in this card series include those exclusively from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise paid DLC expansion.

In North America, consumers can purchase Animal Crossing amiibo cards through Target. This included the Sanrio Collaboration Packs. Consumers could obtain special furniture items through the use of the Sanrio collaboration amiibo cards. The collaboration pack came with a total of six cards. Additionally, in September 2021 Target sold reprints of the series 1-4 Animal Crossing amiibo card packs.
