Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival Shows Its Desert Island Escape Mode

In a recent video from YouTube channel GameXplain, we get a closer look at Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival and its Desert Island Escape mode. Here’s a look at the gameplay footage.

In Desert Island Escape, you have a limited amount of days, or turns, in which to gather supplies and plan your escape from a desert island. In your search, however, you will come across various familiar obstacles from the Animal Crossing series, such as angry bees that are very protective of their honey, as well as pits you can fall into. At the end of each turn, you can use any supplies you found earlier in the day to craft different tools to further help you on your mission.

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival will be available for the Wii U in North America on November 13th, in Europe on November 20th, in Japan on November 21st, and in Australia on November 21st, 2015.
